Landry and Shula not being on there is a joke

I don't think Shanahan should be on there

I think Landry's Super Bowl losses kept him off.

He was an all-time great coach, but he has more Super Bowl losses than wins.

Do any of those coaches have more than one Super Bowl loss?

In all fairness, Landry was 2-3 in Super Bowls, not a great record to say the least.

Hank Stram won it 1 time why is he there? Mike Shanahan won it 2 times.

AFL impact, baby. It is true, Landry's losses keep him off. I just don't see Shanahan as a great super bowl Coach, but I guess he gets the love just like Elway, whose SB numbers are atrocious. I'd replace him with Shula.

Well, one can certainly make a case for Landry being there instead of the one shot wonders, Stramm and Ewbank.

Stramm got a LOT of mileage out of his game vs the Vikings because he was wired with a microphone for the game.

And in my opinion, Joe Namath was THE guy in his superbowl..it would be one thing if Ewbank called the plays....that wasn't the case.

Landry probably lost too many to be considered in the elite group.

I consider any coach who can bring his team to 5 SB and win 2 should be on that list. #1 on the list was Noll and we played his steelers in 2 of the closest games in SB history.

That's the thing that plays in Landry's favor...all three losses were close...painfully close..

And unfortunately lost them both. I'm not saying I agree just pointing out why I think these guys would leave Landry off.

Aside from anti-Cowboy conspiracy theory, of course.;)

Well, Cowher will be #2 after next Sunday- the media loves their Stillers.

Instant HOF coach too...And probably all of his assistants.

Wow Jimmy Johnson was ahead of the Great Bill Walsh, now that's saying something right there. I think Jimmy Johnson should have stayed the Cowboys head coach. Like it stated in that article, he was a GREAT talent evaluator and excellent head coach.
