They also have a "top ten SB MVPs" slideshow. No boys there either.

I consider any coach who can bring his team to 5 SB and win 2 should be on that list. #1 on the list was Noll and we played his steelers in 2 of the closest games in SB history.

THANK YOU !!!!!:starspin

While I agree with most of the list, I do think Landry & Shula (both with 2 SB wins) deserved to be included: One of Shula's SB wins came as part of a perfect season and Landry took his teams to 5 SB games (more then any other coach & 4 were in the 70's) and did win 2 of them. The inclusion of Stram's 1 SB win, only because he was miked, is ridiculous.

To leave Landry and Shula off is utterly rediculous.

Two of Landry's losses came against the team considered the greatest of all time by a combined total of eight points. One of those games (Super Bowl X), Dallas was a team in transition at that. The other Super Bowl Dallas got screwed in.

And if Charlie waters doesn't graze the laces of the Morrell pass to Mackey, or Duane Thomas doesn't fumble on the 1 yard line, or Morton doesn't throw that errant pass at the end of the game, Dallas would of won Super Bowl V.

How much closer can you get to being 5-0 in Super Bowls?

Landry's coaching in Super Bowls were magnificent.

Let's not forget that Stram also lost a Super Bowl as well (Super Bowl I).

Stram was great entertainment.

"Keep matriculating the ball down the field..." "65 toss power trap"

And he was a darn good coach...but really, he was 1-1...the Jets had already exposed the NFL the prior season so it was no great shock that his Chiefs beat an inferior Viking team.

Inferior Vikings team? Not so sure about that. Purple People Eaters were pretty darn good. They just simply underachieved and were unprepared for the opened up AFL defense.

But, then again, if that makes them inferior, then the Vikes are inferior.

I won't waste my time and effort arguing about any selection process in which Larry Brown makes the SB HOF. WOW.
