5.... Its easy to get nicked when your a cornerback who works out with offensive lineman and goes 100% day in and day out practice or primetime. Newman has deserved every penny he has pocked and stocked.

From what I've gathered from ESPN he has missed seven games in the past two seasons. Either way I have not argued that he wasn't worth what he's been paid, I actually regard him as a top three CB in the NFL when he's 100%

NFL.com has him missing 8 (unless my counting is wrong)

which it was, nfl.com has him missing 6. which doesn't make sense because hes missed 6 this season (week 1 and 5-9) then 3 season prior so 9 in 2 years

If the owner is shelling out big bucks, it should equate to winning. One would hope that the owner wouldn't pay top dollar for a bad player.

With that kind of reasoning there are alot of teams getting ****ed. Look at the other names on that list.

Yes, the last two years he has had injuries. Before that he missed I believe 3 games. But you are right. He should be cut immediately to rid the cap of his payroll.

Adams is the 4th highest paid OL on the team behind Davis, Columbo and Gurode and only slightly ahead of Kosier. I don't consider that overpaid.

If you want to talk about overpaid, look at Roy Williams (the SS) who has the highest cap hit this year at $6.67M. OUCH!!!
