While I'll always usually agree on the 25, I rarely agree on the order. The most reckless QB with the ball at #6? He's the only QB on that list I'm glad never played for the Cowboys.

They’re all based on opinion, but the order of this ranking is one of the worst I’ve seen. Kurt Warner and Steve Young are ranked way too high and Elway is ranked too low. They have Fran Tarkenton ranked ahead of Roger Staubach? Lol The only one they got right was Brady at least in my opinion.

Mahomes will go down as the best ever all said and done IMO. His ability to throw from every arm angle off any platform is amazing. He makes throws no one else should even try. Eras are certainly different but he’d dominate any era.
If he had played when Staubach did Mahomes might have lasted three years.

Why haven't our resident Dak homies chimed in with their complaints that Dak isn't in the top 3?

Come on, he had the best playoff game ever against an 8-9 dumpster fire of a team. That alone should have been worthy of recognition among the all time greats.

Dan Marino and Bob Griese have a similar list of accomplishments. But Marino looked cool and Bob Griese looked like an accountant. So people rank Marino way ahead of Griese.

People generally don't do a lot of research when making these lists.

Recency bias. Rating guys higher who play in the modern league we're guys cannot be hit and all the rules favor the offense.

And its not just the QBs that you cannot splatter anymore. Can you imagine the Assassin being told he could not hit a defenseless player?

It's almost impossible for me to compare players from different era's.

There's qbs now who would have.been lost back then
DBs got to beat on your receivers all the way down the field until the ball was thrown
OL had to use their elbows to block, no hands Footballs were more difficult to throw .
So I just admire good QBs

Lol. Find me the GM who would take Ben over Roger or Troy. Troy is probably 10 spots higher and Roger 15 spots higher. Graham is the most underrated.

Completely agree that its very difficult to rank across era's. Of those 15

Manning - obviously great but not #2 for me.
Favre - too wild to be that high.
Young - excellent and a threat on the ground but somehow he doesn't feel like a top 10 of all time.
Mahomes - is the best blend of all the traits we have ever seen. could very well challenge for top spot by the time he's done.
Elway - Way too low. Was the prototypical size with great mobility and a cannon for an arm. Tremendous competitor. Found ways to win. He truly changed the game.
Warner - Nice to see him get the recognition he deserves. An absolute surgeon. His career cut short by late arrival and some injuries prevented him from having a long run of sustained play but when healthy .... awesome to watch.

Question I ask myself is who would I most want to play the biggest games against the best competition. In no particular order, Mahomes, Rodgers, Elway, Marino, Brady, Montana & Warner. Give me any of those guys and I feel really good they will come out on top.

Roger said Archie Manning was great, so he should be on the list...

The things that bugs me about peyton is ppl acting like he didn’t have one of the best rbs ever and a crazy wr core. ppl act like he had bums around him

Then his playoff performances were objectively bad.

Peyton Manning had a passer rating of 87.4 with 7,339 yards, 40 touchdowns and 25 interceptions in 27 games in the playoffs in his career.

Montana was one of the very best in the playoffs; which to me is what matters most. Mahomes I am not sure is really going to last; even in this era where the QBs really do wear skirts.
