So the Cowboys pick 14th in the 1st,
13th in the 2nd,
19th in the 3rd?

It's obvious the Colts and Skins will be taking QBs in the first round. The Dolphins need a QB if one is available. However, with some of the college QBs deciding to stay in school, not sure there will be enough to go around. The Rams desperately need a WR. Anyone know what the rest of the teams picking ahead of us will most likley be targeting? Just wondering how many guards, CBs, and pass rushers will be taken before we get a shot at them. My understanding is that this draft is light on pass rushers as it is. What/who will most likely be available for us with the 14th pick? Will we try to move up to get "our" guy? I know drafting for need is frowned on, but I would think one of the "best players available" at 14 would be an OL, CB, or pass rusher. We certainly aren't taking a QB, WR, RB in the first round. If Bennett leaves, we will need another TE, but we certainly won't take one early in the draft. I would love a huge hole plugging NT. What's available there in the middle rounds?

Yes sir. 45 and 83.

The bottom line is we will have a shot to get several good players. This might be one of the most important drafts we've had in a long time. We simply have to draft well this year. If we miss on most of our picks like we've done at times in the past, it will set us back a LOT. Got to get some good players for the interior OL and pretty much anywhere on defense between FA and the draft.

Ah, that old line. I read it every year. Usually by the columnists.

This is the most important draft ever. We can't miss this year. Unlike, ya know, the years where the draft is less important and we can blow picks.

Of course it's important every year, but we know exactly where we have to improve the team. Interior OL, CBs, pass rusher. DL too depending on what's available. While we don't have a top 10 pick, we have good picks. They need to be used very wisely. We don't need to reach for skill positions, just solid tough football players. For that reason, I think it's a VERY important draft. If we could fix our glaring problems, we're a playoff team. If not, we aren't. It's really that simple. We should be able to do so if we're smart in FA and the draft.

Cleveland is armed with a lot of picks and has plenty of needs...including, some people feel, at QB. I think they have two 1sts and two 2nds,

They could move up to the 2nd pick (SL) or even to the top if for some reason Indy decides to move it.
