Eh, this is mostly just from the Cowboys and Eagles playing each other and Buffalo.

The Cowboys have a tougher schedule than previous years, but not by a ton.
Yup, when you have a good division and play a good division that accounts for 10 of the games…plus playing the corresponding finishers there is no surprise.

Besides it will probably look much easier after all our wins next year make the opponents winning percentage that much less

Well of course the East looks harder just like last year when it looked easy.

When your division ends

14-2, 12-4, 9-7 and 8-8 your schedule will look inflated. Throw in the AFC East that’s 6 of 8 teams at .500 or better. The other two teams are 1 and 2 games from .500

Yep. Iron sharpens Iron.. Back when the NFC East was the toughest division in football the NFC East Champ won 5 of 6 Super Bowls including 4 in a row between 1990 and 1993. That's what I'm looking for us to do.
If not for the 49ers in '88, '89 and '94 the NFC could well have run off 10 straight Super Bowls between the '86 Giants, the '87 Ratscums, the '90 Giants, the '91 Ratscums, and the the '91-'95 Cowboys.. As it was winning 7 of 10 was already damn impressive. And it's why I have no fear of the division getting good again.

Strength of schedule is always based on how teams performed the previous season. What appears to be a tough schedule or an easy one could change, depending on how teams are performing. Some teams will get worse while other teams will get better. Looking at last year’s schedule, it appeared the Cowboys might start off 0-3 after losing the opener, but Cincinnati and the Rams sucked at the time we played them. The Rams who won the Super Bowl the previous year, sucked all season.

Yep, and what happens if the Eagles lose Hurts in camp/preseason/early in the season? His running covers a "multidude of sins" for them. Same if the Chiefs lose Mahomes, and others. Teams will drastically fall. How many teams were licking their chops in 2016 when Romo was lost? But Cowboys ended up 13-3.

Should just about totally ignore last season's records....
