Didn't miss a beat? They scored 14 points. Only ran for 50 yards and I think they lost the turnover battle. That's unsustainable, even with their defense.

I like that comparison to the Chiefs. I don't think they'll have the same collapse at the end of the year, but I like it.

Yeah they'll probably still win the division because they have such a comfortable lead but I can see them losing a few games before the end of the season.

There's just no way you can't put Cardinals at #1 just because we don't like their QB, they keep winning games and have the best record in the NFL.

Are you kidding me? I can easily knock the Cards down and yes, it's because I don't like their QB and his sub 50% completion percentage.

Not when Pittsburgh is on the road against a good team.

These all must be ranked as if they're playing on a neutral field. I mean, the Patriots are probably #1, UNLESS they play with one hand tied behind their back and have to count to FIVE mississippi before rushing the QB.

1. Green Bay (look fantastic right now and if they can somehow get Lacy going, their offense will be unstoppable; defense is suspect, but they seem to be coming around as of late)
2. Arizona (their defense is great and will keep them in every game, but I'm not sold on Stanton and their average running game)
3. Detroit (another team with a great defense and the difference with Detroit and Arizona's offenses is that the Lions' O have the potential to turn it around and if that happens, watch out for Detroit; however, this team can't seem to win on the road and that may hurt them)
4. Dallas (I put us over Philly simply because we're a more complete and physical team. Their offense may be more fast-paced and explosive, but their non-existent running game makes them one-dimensional and Dallas is a way more balanced team; still have concerns about defense though)
5. Philadelphia (Despite me saying all that, their still a very good team and they will score points every week, that's a given. Their defense is suspect and their pass rush seems to be hot one week and cold the next so we'll see if they get a consistent pass rush down the stretch)

1. New England (I guess the world took notes never again to doubt Brady and Belichick again; this team is firing on all cylinders and don't seem to be stopping anytime soon)
2. Denver (Despite the loss against St. Louis, this is still a great football team and although injuries to Sanders and Thomas are concerning, I still think they win the division over Kansas City and possibly get a first-round bye; need to get running game going)
3. Kansas City (Also one of the hottest teams in the NFL, KC has a very good defense and if they continue leaning on Charles on offense, they can make challenge Denver for the AFC West)
4. Indianapolis (Their offense is very good and Luck will put up points every week, but their defense is vulnerable and that run defense was gashed against New England; need to tighten up that defense if they want to make some noise in January)
5. Cincinnati (This may surprise some people, but I was extremely impressed with their play against New Orleans. The reason I put them here instead of Pittsburgh is because PIT are extremely inconsistent and this is a different team away from Heinz Field; still not sold on Dalton, but their defense has the potential to be very good)

The Bears went to the superbowl with a worse quarterback. What's your point?

My goal for this team is to reach the championship game, which means we need to be at least second best in the NFC. I don't think we're there yet. We are at the point of the season where the contenders get better and the pretenders fall apart, I'd like to hope that this time we're contenders. FOR A CHANGE.

My point is that it is stupid for you to suggest the quarterback should have no bearing on how one feels about a team and their potential for playoff success. Call me crazy, but I'll pick an Aaron Rodgers' led Green Bay team or a Tony Romo led Cowboys team over the Drew Stanton led Cards any day of the week. The power rankings should look like this...

1. Patriots
2. Packers
3. Cowboys
4. Broncos
5. Chiefs
6. Cardinals

How do you have the Cardinals who have a 9-1 record and just beat us 3 weeks ago on our home field at #4?

Oh come on, you and I both know that we win that game if Romo is QB. Also I still have my doubts about whether Stanton can get it done the rest of the season. If we happen to face the Cards in the playoffs, I'm not going to be shaking in my boots.

You would rank them higher even though the Cardinals have beaten higher quality teams and have the best record in the NFL? Look at Rodgers game against Detroit who was the last great defense he played.

1. Patriots - everyone wrote them off
2. Chiefs - coming on strong
3. Broncos - they lost to the Rams??
4. Bengals - impressive road win
5. Colts - looking forward to that game in Dec

NFC

1. Cardinals - best record in NFL
2. Packers - I enjoyed their game against the Eagles
3. Lions - I don't think they are a fraud
4. Eagles - only because they have tiebreaker - hope to change in 2 weeks
5. Cowboys - what a beautifully timed bye with excellent results

I'd still put the Broncos over the Chiefs. I don't trust any team with Alex Smith at QB, and I don't care how many times Manning has looked lost in the post season. I'd put the Steelers at 4 and the Colts at 5. The Bungles are going to Bungle, and I just can't take them seriously. I'm still curios to see whaqt the Ravens and Chargers have to offer down the stretch as well. I like Miami, but I see them falling short. Cleveland is already in the process of coming back down to Earth. Hoyer's the answer? Lulz. Give me a break.

I think the Cards deserve to be #1 now, but I think there's a good chance Seattle comes back to take that division. Honestly, I think the NFC is about as up for grabs as it can be. The Cowboys might be 5, they might be 6, maybe 7, maybe 3... it varies from week to week. The Packers are the world beaters now, but they're not far removed from some bad games, as well as a last second miracle over Miami. Then there's SF, and we should all be rooting against them, because 10-6 with a favorable tie-breaker would really suck.

Just beat us three weeks ago, huh? So you're one of those guys who has decided to completely ignore the fact that Weeden was our QB and played one of the worst games...ever? Yeah, that wasn't a factor at all. They did NOT beat the Cowboys, they beat the Dallas Weedens -- any team could have beaten the Dallas Weedens. Why the heck do you think the coaching staff was bound and determined to get Romo out there against lowly Jacksonville? Because, like me, they were fully aware that beating Jacksonville was no sure thing with Weeden at QB. Yeah, he's that bad.

They are still 9-1 and have beaten SF who beat us with Romo. They also have wins over Philly and Detroit. We've beaten one team over .500 through the first 10 games.

Uh, yeah...but they lost to the Denver Broncos, who just lost to the Rams, a team we beat! LOL. I think they have a solid team but they do not have nearly enough offense to be a legit threat when the playoffs roll around.

I'd like to say that but defense wins in the playoffs. I'm more concerned about us b/c the defense is our weak link...............and admit it, we got lucky beating the rams. lol

I need somebody to beat Greenbay with the quickness. In other words, not now but right now. They are a machine.
