I'd like to say that but defense wins in the playoffs. I'm more concerned about us b/c the defense is our weak link...............and admit it, we got lucky beating the rams. lol

Nope, not lucky. That was a heck of a win, make no mistake about it. Defense definitely helps but it sure is nice to be able to score when your defense isn't completely rock solid. The Cardinals have a stout defense but I'm telling you right now, there is going to be a time when they need to score 28+ points and I'm not sure they have the firepower (especially at the QB position) to do it. We'll see.

They demolished the Colts, Texans,Browns, Ravens and will do the same this week to the Saints. The two Bengal games and the KC game will be good to watch. That will be the true tests on their schedule.

1. Green Bay (look fantastic right now and if they can somehow get Lacy going, their offense will be unstoppable; defense is suspect, but they seem to be coming around as of late)
2. Arizona (their defense is great and will keep them in every game, but I'm not sold on Stanton and their average running game)
3. Detroit (another team with a great defense and the difference with Detroit and Arizona's offenses is that the Lions' O have the potential to turn it around and if that happens, watch out for Detroit; however, this team can't seem to win on the road and that may hurt them)
4. Dallas (I put us over Philly simply because we're a more complete and physical team. Their offense may be more fast-paced and explosive, but their non-existent running game makes them one-dimensional and Dallas is a way more balanced team; still have concerns about defense though)
5. Philadelphia (Despite me saying all that, their still a very good team and they will score points every week, that's a given. Their defense is suspect and their pass rush seems to be hot one week and cold the next so we'll see if they get a consistent pass rush down the stretch)

1. New England (I guess the world took notes never again to doubt Brady and Belichick again; this team is firing on all cylinders and don't seem to be stopping anytime soon)
2. Denver (Despite the loss against St. Louis, this is still a great football team and although injuries to Sanders and Thomas are concerning, I still think they win the division over Kansas City and possibly get a first-round bye; need to get running game going)
3. Kansas City (Also one of the hottest teams in the NFL, KC has a very good defense and if they continue leaning on Charles on offense, they can make challenge Denver for the AFC West)
4. Indianapolis (Their offense is very good and Luck will put up points every week, but their defense is vulnerable and that run defense was gashed against New England; need to tighten up that defense if they want to make some noise in January)
5. Cincinnati (This may surprise some people, but I was extremely impressed with their play against New Orleans. The reason I put them here instead of Pittsburgh is because PIT are extremely inconsistent and this is a different team away from Heinz Field; still not sold on Dalton, but their defense has the potential to be very good)

Flip Detroit and Dallas and I agree completely

AFC

1. Patriots
2. Broncos
3. Colts
4. Steelers
5. Chiefs

NFC.

1. Dallas
2. Green Bay
3. Detroit
4. Seattle
5. Arizona.

- Bengals not included because they simply don't win televised games that the entire country gets to see. They won't go anywhere with Andy at the helm.

- Philly not included because they have skated by on most of their victories this season and are not as good as we would like to think they are.

Seattle is the best team in the NFC West still, and AZ going to Seattle won't be close.

I still don't believe in AZ nor Detroit. Too much inconsistency at the QB position.

Green Bay could easily be 1 but they got smacked by N.O when N.O used their balance approach with Ingram similiar to how we would play them.

....I'm a Cowboys fan. Go Cowboys!

That's probably all you read. Even if Dallas makes it further than GB you won't admit it. Just like the Hitchens ordeal. Collect your likes with your cute little punch lines.

My point is that it is stupid for you to suggest the quarterback should have no bearing on how one feels about a team and their potential for playoff success. Call me crazy, but I'll pick an Aaron Rodgers' led Green Bay team or a Tony Romo led Cowboys team over the Drew Stanton led Cards any day of the week. The power rankings should look like this...

1. Patriots
2. Packers
3. Cowboys
4. Broncos
5. Chiefs
6. Cardinals

Sounds like you're obsessed with QB's . There's a lot more to winning than just Quarterbacks . The Cardinals are the best TEAM in the NFC I don't care who's playing QB for them. Stanton and Palmer are both solid.
