Top 5 Pick?

From everything we heard the Cowboys had every intention of taking Aaron Donald if he was there. They were also supposedly after Sheldon Richardson. The Cowboys are not going to take a player thats a run stuffer only that high. That doesn't mean they won't take a DT.
That doesn't mean they will take a DT either. There was a lot of talk about them draft JF also.

Anybody watched us play knows we should draft a qb

From the majority of mocks I've seen, the guys who show up in the top 10 the most are to be (by position):

QB - Jared Goff, Paxton Lynch
WR - Laquon Treadwell
OT - Laremy Tunsil
DE - Joey Bosa
DT - Robert Nkemdiche
LB - Myles Jack, Jaylon Smith
DB - Jalen Ramsey, Vernon Hargreaves

The good news is we can use all 10 of these guys and they would all make an immediate impact (except for probably QB with Romo still here).

I hope your right. Their is also a great chance their will be a good DT sitting their early in the 2nd if we miss out or pass on Nkemdiche. I dont see all 6 DT's with 1st round grades(Nkemdiche, Robinson, Billings, Clark, Washington, Reed) actually going in the 1st but Nkemdiche is cleary the best of the bunch and should really be considered if Lynch, Goff, Bosa, and Ramsey are gone.

I trade the pick

The 2016 quarterback class is underwhelming, according to multiple NFL scouts I've spoken to, but one name they all like as a potential starter is Carson Wentz from North Dakota State. One team I spoke to this week said Wentz could go as early as the late first round.

We know they were targeting Aaron Donald in the Z. Martin draft. That directly contradicts your stance towards them not taking a DT early. Targeting a player with the intent to draft said player=they will take one early in the draft.

Derrick Henry should be our first draft pick hands down..

One of a handful of running backs i've ever seen coming out of college that is already nfl ready.

this man has all the tools.

Talk is cheap. Targeting is cheap. Read what the card says. Here's a hint: it doesn't say DT anywhere on it. We took Russell Maryland in the first round in 1991. Since then we have only drafted one DT in the first 3 rounds. That was in 2001. That's 24 years of avoiding that position in the first 2 rounds completely. I stand on my statement and think I can prove it's right.

How can you turn a name in when someone before you already did? We said the same thing about the OL a few years back as well. You've taken a hard stance against this when as I said, they were going to take a DT if that DT was there at least once, if not twice in the last 4 years. If you won't acknowledge that, then its not on me to prove anything.
