I guess that would depend on what you use to quantify. IMO, there is no way that Palmer or Roethlisberger are better then Brady or Manning.

This year they are, I will say Roethlisberger does not put up as many passes as the other 4 QB on this list but Palmer clearly does. Palmer will get a chance to go up aginst the Colts this weekend

Palmer is pretty good man. His mechanics are incredible. He's going to be great. This is only his 2nd season as a starter, and look at what he's doing. I mean, Cinci improved since then, but with essentially the same WR and RB's Kitna went 8-8, Palmer will shatter that. That's the difference between a good QB and an average one. Palmer will definately be top 5 after this year. Just watch him.

I agree, Palmer is showing himself to be a top notch QB in the NFL

That really isn't a good point, since your rankings do not take TD's and receptions into account.

of course. a better thermometer should be to have all 32 GM's list who their favorite players are

I can't agree with this. Until you've seen the elephant, there's no way you know just how much gun it's going to take.

Brady and Manning are the two best in the league, IMO.

I've been a fan of his since his SC days. I said when he came out that he was the best prospect I'd seen since Elway. I think he will be the best, in time, but not yet.

Yes, but those QBs took far more attempts than Drew. You need to look at YPA and Rating to see the big picture.
Drew is #3 in YPA in the NFL.

If we are talking consistency over the last 3 to 5 year I agree they are the best in the NFL. That list however was this year. Palmer is just now getting to make name for himself and has done so very well up to this point. Bledsoe is showing he still has something left

I was just watching ESPN and it is clear the Michael Vick is the best ever! Why didn;t he make the list?
