I might find a place for Roger and Emmitt in the top 3. Probably at the expense of Irvin and (although I hate to say it) the Manster.

All three were of the gut-wrenching variety, with questionable calls on top of that. The league actually admitted that the officials had erred in SB XIII. That was back when the commissioner valued the integrity of the game over PR. Basically, those were the people who built the NFL into what it is today.

The Colts game should have been a blowout....3 tipped balls cost the game....plus a thomas fumble at the goal line. Morton was terrible.

Larry Allen was one of the most-feared dudes ever to play in the NFL.

Larry Allen in his prime was a scary man for any player to deal with there was a quote where Sanders made stating that the opposing player playing against Allen would fake an injury not to play against him and Howie Long once called him a frightening player imo Allen was by far the best offensive lineman to ever play.
