CB- either 1st or 2nd round, FA Samuels or Clements
MLB- Draft
NT- Draft
Guard to replace Rivera- FA or draft

Those to me are the biggest concerns next to finding some decent coaches, we have about 30 DE:laugh2:

I keep wondering why the problem with the FS? Last year in August, everyone couldnt wait to see Watkins, and he because he doesnt have a Great rookie season, we have to wat, go sign other FS to solve the problem? Why not let the guy devlop. Why not let him have a second season. He was a rookie.

And again Whats with the fasnation with the OL. I see really only one weak link and that was Rivera. Kosier did a average job. Flozell had his down moments, but if he get straight mentally he's still got it. And if not we have McQ. Columbo did an outstanding job at RT. and HE can only get better. Gurode has seemed to get his head out of his butt, and did a good job as well.

I truly believe we need to work on getting younger at the WR/CB position, and getting some Qb depth. And Some DE help, cause Spears isnt cutting it

we need a FS to compete w/ Watkins, I don't want to leave that position up to chance anymore

I see no reason to not use both.

agreed. they're both there for a reason.

when last i checked the FA list, it wasn't as pretty as it has been in years past. since this FA period seems to be weak, we should just hold onto all of our own players and hope for a better year next year.

I am going to go a little different here, but I do not acquire a FA OL unless it is a lower tier guy to be a back up with some experience. We have proctor already on the Roster,, I would draft a OL, maybe in the 2nd, a Ben Grubbs type to compete with him at RG and stick them in and let them develop. As far as another Pass rushing person, it really depends on the scheme we are going to run. If we are staying in a 34 D, then we will need another Ware/Merriman type at the OLB opposite ware. If we switch back to the 43 D,I would think we would need a MLB type to platoon with James. The DE position should be ok in the 43, Ware, Spears, Hatcher and prob. Canty could all be DE.

i agree dielman

but instead of grant, give me 2 young establish experienced cb's. like randall gay and babeneux(sp).

draft

1. levi brown T
2. brian leonard FB
3. kareem brown DT
4. paul williams WR
5. baraka atkin DE
7. Ramzee Rabinson CB

Latin, I guess I don't understand the 2nd round pick of a FB. By all reports Hoyt did an excellent job. I don't see that being a position of great need.

lol im a true fresno state homer having grduated there in 2001. and being raised in the fresno area. but i know when players arent going to be top picks. just like i said williams drops passes he should be making with his talent level. but i think he drops not so much because he bombed, but i think a few WR's passed him up during sr bowl week because they just lit it up. and theres still these underclassmen too. i really think he'd be there in the 4th, and that would be a steal for dallas

Williams IMO will be a steal in the 3rd. Truly underrated. I'm from Fresno too.:)
