Ummm..if they would upgrade a position on just about any team in the league, then what's the reason they are still available? Contradicting yourself makes no sense there..

Because teams don't invest in veterans especially at this point of the season. This is a young man's league. Veterans are more expensive, their contracts are guaranteed and teams would rather see a fourth round pick of their own develop.

Yes I do believe Boldin would be an upgrade the 3rd or 4th receiver on all 32 teams. I don't think it is debatable if you look at all rosters. He is still available, that validates my point.
