Change BP's name and the guy would be run out of here. Earlier poster was correct...come can't separate what BP did for other teams to what he has done thus far. Not saying he hasn't done a fine job, but.....we are what we are. Didn't someone "highly" respected say that?

I would say Jimmy Johnson has the edge on identifying talent and firing up a football team.

Also, I will never forget the Hershal Walker trade to Minn.....has to be the best heist of all time for us......I believe the trade made us the team of the 90's

Had he left everything intact he may have...

but it is you who is wacky if you think Parcells wouldn't have changed many things including the coaching staff...

He may have tried to change the defense, offensive, ST, everything plus all those free agent defections we had might have been more as Bill likes to say he isn't for everyone

it is quite possible we would have never gotten that 5th Lombardi...

No Switzer doesn't get the credit that he deserves and yes I think Aikman had a role in his demise...however, I do not think Aikman was nearly as disruptive a force as you make him out to be...

Jimmy won superbowls and when he left , he left a championship team in tact ...

Tom also won , but left a mess of a team....

Barry was lucky to fallow Jimmy , but somtimes it is better to be lucky than good...
Barry won a superbowl and left with the best winning percentage in Cowboy history ,but he left with a mess.....

If I had a mess and needed it fixed of all Cowboy coaches I would choose BIll.....

Jimmy took us to 2 and won both

Barry took us to 1 and won

I think Chan won us one playoff game and Chan also swept all NFC East opponents one year...
