Owens is obviously tired of trying and is coasting through the game and letting others do all the work.

Who cares about all the good things he did. He just doesn't get "it"

Let me summarize something for you.

Without the Romo to TO tandem... we dont sniff anywhere near 11-1.
Probably in the thick of things at 7-5.

That is all.

The play was designed to go the other direction I believe. That probably has something to do with it.

You are right, the play that was designed to be run away from T.O.'s side and the only reason it came to Terrell's side was because of a great cut back move by Marion.

On the play Harris was more interested in leveling Terrell at the snap and he got the better of him on the play. Simple as that.

I don't believe Terrell was taking the play off- I have seen him hustling 30 or 40 yards down the field to assist his team mates on runs or pass receptions to believe that he wouldn't make a block at the LOS for crying out loud.

Yes, even Terrell can get caught flat footed once in a while. It isn't like Harris wasn't trying to deck him on every play or something. Terrell won most plays, Harris got in a few along the way and this was one.

Deal with it. The thread starter is complaining that Terrell isn't perfect? Wow, how startling a revelation that must be.

Yeah... and not only that... we have seen numerous examples of TO giving the extra effort on a block for a fellow player etc

 to this whole stupid thread.

Owens had 7 Rec for 156 yards and 1 touchdown in this game ..... He is the difference in our Offense and Green Bays.

Agreed.
I wanted that 2nd TD bad... I was going nuts.

Romo would have 5 TD's. 0 INT's.

I'll live though. :D

I still don't get the title.

Off day?

Actually, thinking about it, 1 TD is pretty much an off day lately for TO.

From NFL.com play-by-play:

3-1-GB 22 (1:07) 24-M.Barber left tackle to GB 5 for 17 yards (31-A.Harris).

1-5-GB 5 :)28) PENALTY on DAL-9-T.Romo, Delay of Game, 5 yards, enforced at GB 5 - No Play.

1-10-GB 10 (15:00) (Shotgun) 24-M.Barber right tackle to GB 6 for 4 yards (56-N.Barnett).

2-6-GB 6 (14:17) (Shotgun) 9-T.Romo pass intended for 81-T.Owens INTERCEPTED by 31-A.Harris at GB -6. Touchback. The interception is Harris' first of the season.

Three plays before the Harris INT TO got chucked at the line by Harris and TO did not even try to block Harris for the Marion run. Harris ended up making the tackle on Marion. If TO would have at least attempted to shield Harris from the inside, Marion scores easily. Don't get me wrong TO had a good game stats wise, however, for a guy who supposedly practices full-speed, he sometimes puts it idle for a game.

:bang2:

Man some people just don't get it. 11-1 first time in history for this franchise.

You are so observant, I'm surprised you did not mention the power bar he had during a time out. The reason he was eating it infront of his coach was because he needed the fuel. Or do you think he was taking time off of plays and having a snack.

He had over 130 yards by halftime. Some posters make real fans:bang2: :bang2:

Dumb thread...TO has blocked his butt off every game...so he missed one block...join the rest of the team...who cares...i rember him sprinting around the field like crazy this season throwing blocks that no one would even expect him to be there for...if your going to start call out TO for missed blocks you better start calling out Romo for not seeing or getting the ball to every single reciever we have open...or Jones for everycut back he misses :)...good luck with that

Its en vogue... Ron Jaworski started it a few days ago regarding Randy Moss giving it all on every play..

The OP is just going with that...

You meant NOT giving it all right?

They broke down Moss vs the Eagles while he gave up on many patterns.

I noticed the tackle Harris made at the 5 yard line on Barber.

To did not even attempt to block Harris and it did indeed cost us 7.

Great points!

Possibly but don't forget the delay of game penalty right after that cost us five yards. Instead of being 2nd and goal from the 1, it was 2nd and goal from the six after the Barberians run on 1st down

Al Harris makes a tackle...and the only cause for this you can come up with is TO quit?

This thread SCREAMS hidden agenda.

this thread is titled "T.O.'s off day included..."

I'm sorry but an off day? since when is seven catches for 156 yards and a touchdown an off day? he missed one play, that is not an off day.

If Al Harris made the tackle, someone needs to alert the NFL.....
