Has Clearly lost mobility? Can you please cite an example of this? How many games did he play badly? Didnt Larry Allen go to the Pro Bowl..again?

I've watched a lot of Cowboy games, and Larry Allen isn't one of our problems.

Larry Allen is one of the premier OL/Guards in NFL History.

Pick a game, any game. Heck you can even pick an offensive series of more than six plays and I'd give you odds that Allen doesn't touch anyone on one of the plays.


Allen is one of the top five offensive lineman of all time and still has the brute strength to drive people when he locks up with them but he'd be hard pressed to win a five yard dash held at Echo Glen Home for the Aged.

He may have made the pro bowl but he's still a liability for the Cowboys.

I agree. He whiffed more times than I can count.

:laugh2: I would atleast try Allen there in the mini camps and TC to see what he has. That would truly gives us leverage to draft a guy like Gilles or Spencer or McMeans. I do worry about his mobility, but I guarantee no one would make their way up the gut, and that's for sure.

I think larry is to large and lacks flexibility in his arms to execute a proper snap lol

I'm not concerned about his flexibility.


But LA is a pretty strong guy. He can do some serious damage to a QBs fingers when he snaps the ball. Speaking of balls, he can do some serious damage to himself too.
