Just curious if you felt that way about the UDFAs we've brought in who've made the team in the past.

For me, there always seems to be a surprise player like a Miles Austin, Cole Beasley or Lucky Whitehead, so I try not to judge the UDFA class until I see what comes of it. I know several fans were a lot higher on several of the other receivers we brought in last year while Lucky proved to be the only one worth keeping.

Nope.. Big fan of a lot of those guys.

Especially Beasley.

I'm usually a fan of a handful of these guys. Not this year so far. I could change my mind when I see them in preseason or TC though.

I'm interested in seeing Eagin on returns. I'm not unhappy with what Lucky provides there and look forward to seeing if he can make a step up, but I'm always up for competition and Eagin seems to have some pretty good movement skills

Beasley is an excellent sliot WR, but he is one dimensional, and if Whitehead, and or say an Egan, show they can play the slot, as well as do punt and kickoff returns, that could possibly make Beasley expendable down the road.

Liked Harris and thought he was under utilized by the staff here on offense, no fault of his. Whitehead is the same type of player, like him a lot too. Having said that, these positions are open to competition as far as I'm concerned. Let's see what Eagan has.

Coe intrigues me the most of the guys we signed. Maybe because Dallas is rumored to have been trying to hide him. Maybe because he's a former RB like another successful Marinelli convert.

I also like this Eagan kid, think Brendel might be a good backup and think Chris Brown could show well. The linebacker, Deon King, also seems to have some ability that might or might not transfer to this level. Hedelin intrigues me as a guy who hasn't been playing football long and might can be developed.

Of course, like I said, it's often the unexpected UDFA who ends up making the roster, so probably one of the ones I haven't mentioned will outshine all others, and the ones I have mentioned will suck.

I want Boldin as a #3.

I think he'd do great here and give us something up the seam that we really lack and he's as good as it gets as a blocker too.

I'd have no problem with Boldin on this team. Always respected his toughness and professionalism.

I like it. I can't help but cheer for the undrafted guys. I know right now, Without seeing Eagan play one snap, That he's better then Street. Can we please move on from him?

IMO, I wouldn't be surprised if it's either this guy or Whitehead making the 53. Personally, I think this dude can add a little more versatility than Lucky. With Whitehead, it was just end-arounds all day. This guy looks decently skilled as a receiver, and that can help in a pinch if players like Beasely or Williams were to go down.
