I believe that was messed up this past off season when they removed his jet's number from some listing or something. Whatever the case, what once worked to track his jet did not this past offseason.

OMG... Thanks for raising my blood pressure with the thread title... only to have it drop lower than the original pressure after opening the thread. :D

They used to track his jet but I think someone in the organization got wind of that and squashed it a couple of years ago.

People actually used to track his jet? Wow...sorry folks but that's just crazy.

Yeah and you wouldn't believe how it got people worked up. :laugh2:

At one time his plane was in Mexico or some where out of the country and people were flipping out because he wasn't out picking up free agents. It turns out it was his wife in the plane not Jerry. :laugh2:

Worst thread title ever.

What's next, "Romo in car wreck?"

Very clever of you to put a tracking device on his car. I like your style.

:hammer:

The title needs to be changed as it is very misleading.

I remember when Jerry Jones was flying out east to meet with Bill Parcells when Dave Campo was still the coach.

Wow. I'm honestly surprised this actually went on. I mean that is on a stalkerish type of level when people are tracking people. That just seems...wow.

I'm not shocked, at all, that they put a stop to that when they found out about it.

Well, it isn't anything illegal. You can track almost any airplane on the FAA website.

Yeah I know it's not illegal but why would anyone be tracking a plane unless they had a loved one on it and they were just wanting to see where it's at or that everything is all right?

It just seems extremely weird to me that a fan of a football team would start tracking the owner, or the teams players, or whatever. That goes beyond being a fan, IMO.

But to each their own.

It wasn't a casual fan. It was the Dallas Morning News that was tracking the plane.

AHHHHH!!!! See I got the impression on this board that it was someone from these boards, average Joe, just tracking the owners plane and that just seemed really creepy to me.

LOL, sure but the Ticket used to make jokes about this back when Parcells was being hired, and then fans started doing it too after the DMN.

The DMN always followed Jerry's plane back in the day, especially when we knew that he was looking for Campo's replacement. That's now news about Parcells' hiring, and the whereabouts of Jerry's plane got leaked.

I was driving through Jersey and I saw Jerry's jet parked outside the Bada Bing Club. He was on his way to intercepting Cowher from meeting with J-E-T-S.. Jets Jets Jets

It began one year when free agency started.

JJ's jet was tracked to see what city he was going to.
