Trade 2nd round pick for best player can get

Doesn’t matter who. We gonna blow it in draft anyway. Someone tell dumb and dumber just trade it for the Chicago cb. Or best lb can get. Hell even for wr Adams. Doesn’t really matter who or position just get best player can get - prefer younger player obviously
Well, we could always trade our second-round pick for extra picks later in the draft. However, shouldn't next year be the year we succeed with the picks, like when we chose Diggs? Oops, I was wrong. It's only about 1 out of every 6 that turns into a top-notch player for us. We've only drafted 3 since we took Diggs, so we need to trade that pick away for the next two or three years.

Or Jaylon Smith, or Bustman Phat, etc etc.

Never seen a team toss 2nd Rd picks out like lottery scratch-offs
To make you feel worse:

Trysten Hill, Connor Williams, Chidobe Awuzie, Randy Gregory, Gavin Escobar, Bruce Carter, Martellus Bennett, Anthony Fasano, Kevin Burnett, Jacob Rogers ...

At least we got a little something out of some of those. But the only clear successes going back to 2004 are Diggs, Lawrence and Sean Lee (although that one's shaky because of the injuries).

trade for zack moss he’s on rookie contract and when pollard leaves you sign him to a decent contract and draft someone. i don’t think it would take a 2nd. more like a 3rd.

Oh he will prove out over time. His realistic development time to fully function is one to two seasons. Jason Witten wasn't all of a suddenly an All Pro....and talking about a 2nd round pick. What about Sean Lee, was he a tad useful...there is quite a bit of value taken in Dallas second round draft picks over the past ten years.
You could tell Witten was a bad-A when he came out catching passes with a wired shut jaw. So we hit a 2nd rounder once out of 10 or so years.

Our last five 2nd round picks.

Luke Schoonmaker
Sam Williams
Kelvin Joseph
Trevon Diggs
Trysten Hill

i'm sure like most of you - i am starting to give up and expecting nothing...they can't waste picks to harm their cash cow

1/5 -20% chance of getting a second contract with the team...give it away and sign someone who already deserves their second contract

Just diggs really. Maybe so so on Conner and Gregory but neither lived up to 2nd round pick. Rest bad. Get us proven talent!!!!
What? Awuzie is one of the better corners in the league. And Sam and Schoon are still TBD

Witten was tough, and make believe says once...Demarcus Lawrence 2014, Randy Gregory 2015, Trevon Diggs 2020 as to future starters: Luke Schoonmaker, Conner McGovern, Conner Williams, Jaylon Smith

The indicator here, is did they in their careers end up as a starter...Dallas or somewhere else.

Diggs is the only person worth much on this list. Sam Williams just complains and gets arrested, he hasn't done anything for me...jury is still out on him and Schoon but I'd rather have Devante adams for a 2nd

You haven't proven value only your own preference.

Plus you throw out managing values...why?
