I see everyone talking about CB and S...call me old school, but the front 7 will ALWAYS come before those positions. Doesn't matter how good your coverage is, if you can't get to the QB the offense will always win. It doesn't get talked about enough how the Cowboys were bottom 3rd in the NFL last year at pressuring the QB. Combine that with 2nd worst run D in the league and I think Stevie Wonder could find the weakness of our D...
3 QB's go top 9 and teams will be desperate to get the 4th best...Washington trades picks 19 and 51 for 10 and 4th round comp pick.
19- Kwity Paye, DE Michigan- Big frame, heavy hands, and explosive quickness will be a good fit for Quinn's scheme. Will provide an immediate impact in both the run and pass game.
44- Nick Bolton, LB Mizzu- High intensity player that plays like he's shot out of a cannon. Disruptive and always around the ball, but also comfortable dropping back in zone.
51- Jay Tufele, DT USC- Big body with a nice combo of power and quickness. Has the ability to shoot gaps and get in the backfield and can hold his own and not get washed out in the run game.
75- Paulson Adebo, CB Stanford- Between a deep draft class at CB and the fact that he sat out 2020 Adebo could get pushed down the board as a serious value pick if he makes it here. Good size and great feet to go with solid ball skills. Adebo/Newsome/Wade/Stokes...I'm expecting 1 to fall and present good value in the 3rd at CB.
3rd Comp- Hamsah Nasirildeen, S Florida St- Huge S with good athleticism and not afraid to get physical. Consistency and health are concerns, but if there's 1 thing I feel good about with Dan Quinn is how to get the most out of big physical athletes in the secondary. Sky is the limit for this kid.
105- Tommy Doyle OT, Miami Oh- Gigantic man (6'7 330) with surprisingly decent feet and playing experience at both LT and RT. Potential upside to develop
