Trade back into the 20s. Get a 3rd. Take Golden

Stop -- you all got obsessed with Jimmy trading back in a very different era.

Jimmy traded back to draft guys who were undervalued -- JJ moved the needle on speed D players - tweeners who didn't fit the typical NFL draft profile.

That magic is not happening again.

Stop being obsessed with Longhorns. There are other schools and other states.

Huh?

People liking Golden has zero to do with him playing at Texas.

He separates, makes plays, and his measurables are great.

I see Golden as a receiver like Jameson Williams in some ways. He has the speed, but I think he is a better receiver. He is not just a guy who runs fast.

I don't think of him as what his numbers will be as a receiver. I think of what he will do for CeeDee and Ferguson when he is on the field. You have to respect 4.2 speed especially for a guy who is not just a runner.

I think the impact he could have on the offense is worthy of a 1st round pick. Coincidentally, Jameson Williams was selected at #12 in the first round by the Lions.

Lol.

Yes, let's draft a guy who rocks the underwear Olympics but didn't really put up elite number in college.

No Texas bias here.

My philosophy is we wait until we see who is left on the board at pick 12 and then decide whether we move back. The draft is not stagnet. There may be a blue chipper sitting there for us to gobble up. Seems like there is always a QB someone will move up to grab.

I’m trading back and taken golden unless someone can’t missed dropped to 12.
You get more than a 3rd trading back from 12-20's. Going from say 12 to 21 should net you 400 points, which would be a 2nd or a combination of 2 3rd's.

Golden is a bad fit for Dak. He is fast target, Dak would have a lot of problems because he doesn't release the ball until the WR is open. You can't do that with these speed guys.
