No I agree he'll go in the first I think but I don't think it will be that high, I think we can grab him in the 20s.

I agree. His arm makes him worth the gamble but he is not ready for prime time. Anyone else (Cook, Hack, etc.) would not be worth the expense.

If it aint Lynch, it aint right....

Pass...

Close but just not quite right...

If it does not fit, you must acquit.....see that works because it rhymes. Lynch and Right just does not rhyme

So how about...

If it's not Lynch...Stay on the Bench

Or Don't Flinch...unless it's Lynch

Trade back up son....get that Paxton

See...something has to rhyme to fit right.

Ok...carry on.

Only reason you trade up is for a QB and the only QB worth a trade up is Lynch and he will likely not be within reach. When you trade up, you are trading up for the 5 year and QB is the only position where it may take a few years for them to see the field.

Trade Up trade UP trade UP....every damn year.

How many second and third round players is this team missing due to trading up???

That's exactly how you end up with massive holes all over the roster and limited depth.

Slow down on the coffee and sugar

We didn't trade up last year and we traded down the year we got Fredbeard and Twill.

Which is why I'd rather trade down from 4, acquire a few more 2nd and 3 round picks and then work you way from there.

I'd have no problem trading down into the early teens................ taking a guy like Rankins or Lynch, then still have a couple of 2nds and 3rds to maneuver around if need be.

Trading the 4th pick is the wisest move IMO.

If you're going to reach for a QB do it for the guy with huge upside please.

Everything is there and he played in probably the worst situation you could possibly play in. His team was awful.

He made some bad decisions himself but he has a lot of upside and has a leg up on most of these QB's having already played in a NFL offense.

Absolutely. Just posted exactly that in another thread. I'm just not confident someone will want to come up to 4. Tenn for Tunsil seems like the best chance IMO.

Jerry may need to get blown away with an offer to pass on Elliott or Ramsey. He falls in love with the one player vs. depth. It's also much more difficult to sell a Rankins jersey than the others

And if they could get Elliot with the first pick, then all they need is WR and TE.

Can't wait for the trade up into the first round to take Connor Cook just so we have that 5th year option for an overrated QB that we reached to draft.

And a DE who can rush the passer, and a CB who can cover, and a guy who can play S, and probably a LB or two.

I hope not.

If we trade up I hope it's for someone like Henry, Spence, Myles JAck, or someone like that.

Got a feeling it could be Cook or Hackenberg though and I would hope they go with Hack of Cook.

Broaddus and Fisher both reporting the cowboys are talking to teams at the end of the 1st to see if they can move up for one of these QB's so they can get the 5th year option on one of them.

Is it worth giving up our 3rd or 4th pick in order to move a few spots for one of these kids? The only way I am OK with it is if it's for Paxton Lynch. Trading up for Cook or Hackenburg is just crazy IMO.

But honestly I don't think I would be happy either way. Friday will be a LONG night with no draft picks. What do u guys think?
I hope they aren't thinking about doing that. I would be ok with Lynch I guess but I don't know if he's worth it. I know the other two aren't worth it
