Trade Bennett poll...

I said no, but of course there is always a price where that could change on any player.

the only thing we cant turn down is a 1st rd pick.a left tackle is more valuable then a no 2 TE.

My take on Bennett, and I've been saying this before these recent trade rumors, is that he is going to be a Pro Bowl quality tight end. That's assuming he keeps his head on straight. He's just too talented not to. Unfortunately for him, we already have a Pro Bowl tight end who's still pretty young.

I'm all for having great depth but if trading our back-up TE gets us a starting Free Safety then I say good day sir. If Witten was older, I'd say we have to hold on to Bennett but Witten isn't going anywhere for at least the next 5 years. Bennett's talent level will demand he play more and be paid more.

Don't be surprised if the Bennett trade talk resurfaces during the upcoming draft.

I will only do that if we get Eric Berry

I don't think Bennett could get us a top 5 pick.

Maybe Bennett and our 1st (depending on how bad we are) could get us a top 5 pick.

More realistically, Bennett could get a low 1st round pick from a very good team in need of a TE. Especially since the 2 best TE prospects in college, Jermaine Gresham and Rob Gronkowski, are both out for the year.

If Baltimore has the choice of a 21-year old Jermaine Gresham coming off an injury OR a 22-year old Martellus Bennett coming off 2 NFL seasons, I could see them making the call to Jerry.

Depends on what he's traded for.

If it was for a quality CB,FS or first rounder then yes. If not, no.

Nothing I would say could top this.

If his production matched his mouth I'd say no way. But as-is if the Bengals offered a 1st round pick I'd be all over it in a second.

I'd take a first rounder for that clown anyday...what exaclty has he done, besides making asinine video's and talking out of his ***!

The guy cant even line up right half the time and he's already whining to the media about opportunities. Gladly would have traded him!

Where do people come up with this stuff? Half the time? Right. Sure he may have lined up incorrectly a few plays, but so has everyone on the Dallas offense.

The problem with Bennett is not Bennett. It were the insane expectations of him. Why anyone thought he was going to light up the league for a bunch of receptions and TDs is beyond me. Jason Witten is the starting tight end and will catch the majority of passes on the team. Bennett's job is to block and then take advantage of the few opportunities he sees. He has blocked very well and been open plenty of times. If he keeps doing that then he and Dallas will be okay. So far Romo has not looked his way that often or has not had to look his way. Sometimes the first read is open so Romo goes there as he should.

I have confidence that Bennett would do very well if Witten had to miss playing time. I did not have that confidence with Fasano.

Thats my take as well, .. if Witten nicks an ankle or tweaks his shoulder or something and misses some time, we will be glad we have MB.

First of all Witten is not an injury-prone guy.. secondly how many teams have two expensive TE's just for fun? MartyB isn't giving opposing d nightmares trust me... take a 2nd for him, move up in the draft and grab that wicked safety.

I dont know what we would be getting in return.

If its just a 2nd then I don't really want my money back. Im happy with Bennett and where we got him.

No vote for me.

why should I?

Do you ever find yourself, after voting in one of these polls, to be embarrassed to find yourself on the same side of an issue as those of questionable emotional stability?:

It completely depends on what the offer was. It's impossible to say rather I'd have done it without knowing what was being offered.

For the right offer there probably isn't a player on this team I wouldn't move it just all depends on what someone would have been willing to give up in return.
