I'm all for having great depth but if trading our back-up TE gets us a starting Free Safety then I say good day sir. If Witten was older, I'd say we have to hold on to Bennett but Witten isn't going anywhere for at least the next 5 years. Bennett's talent level will demand he play more and be paid more.
Don't be surprised if the Bennett trade talk resurfaces during the upcoming draft.
