now that we are officially contenders... & I don't think anybody in here would disagree with that... Do we make some kind of impact moved ala Charles Haley at the trade deadline?? What would it take to pry Robert Quinn away from the Rams??

no, just let it slide away. I think our drafting board will compensate at a cheaper rate, What we will need has changed form these last few games than to what we thought after the offseason, the only realy non changing factor is "the next QB" and that wont come in a trade.

No we get our "Haley" back soon in Dlaw. Continue building in the draft and signing young mid-level talent guys.

No offense to the "Golden Cock" but I would try and trade for a space-eating, double-team absorbing, pocket collapsing DT. All the other d-line pieces seem to be falling into place.

Quinn just signed a massive deal and he has 0 sacks this year.

I would have to say no to this type of trade, but I would be open to trading for a lower profile guy who adds depth to the d-line. Preferably a pass rusher who gets 6-8 sacks a year.

I don't know where we're deep enough to really trade anything away. And we've already invested a 6th round pick in McClain I think?

i don't see anyone worth the price we could add. rather just stand pat and continue what we are doing. we don't need to add another high dollar player when we have so many guys already to sign this off season. draft is the way to keep building

Jerry thinks Josh Brent will be that guy.

I'm thinking we'll stand pat unless Jerry receives another no brainer trade that he can't refuse (i.e. McClain).

When Brent gets back, I'm expecting him to help shore up our run defense. When D-Law gets back (and Spencer rounds into better shape) we'll have a better pass rush.

I'm actually surprised with our secondary to be honest. Wilson is no Peyton Manning, but he does have Harvin at his disposal. Harvin had 3 catches for 0 yards yesterday. This after having 3 TDs called back last week. Sterling Moore has been a nice addition to our secondary.

I hope so. I can almost believe that he is already better than McClain but I am not so sure he can move Hayden out of the starting lineup right away. Hayden is tough, reliable and knows his role; that is hard to replace unless the talent level is superior.

Something I have learned over the years is that if you are winning, you don't mess with chemistry. I think the team is comfortable at the moment with what they have and are expecting some contribution from DLaw and Brent in the future.

All Brent needs to do is come in and be a part of the rotation. Give us some good minuets

I don't see any moves TBH.

I'm sure the media will start some type of rumor around Suh or anyother big name player coming here, but I don't see it.

Does Okoye play, of i hve i not heard his name?

He is on the NFI list. He is eligible to be activated this week or they could activate him anytime between now and week 14.

Josh Brent can't be activated until week 11, but I think he can start practicing this week.
