Nope. Chemistry and draft picks are this team's friend right now. No reason to change that. Besides, as mentioned we have some players coming back soon when more depth will be needed.

now that we are officially contenders... & I don't think anybody in here would disagree with that... Do we make some kind of impact moved ala Charles Haley at the trade deadline?? What would it take to pry Robert Quinn away from the Rams??

Why do people keep asking if we are going to make a bold statement or impact trade when we got to 5-1 just being ourselves? Clearly we still have warts but this team was built for long term success and suddenly shifting the course because we are officially contenders doesn't make any sense to me.

I look at the A's who started off hot and started trading away pieces and they hit rock bottom. One and done.

I think Brent can split the 1T with Hayden. I don't see us cutting Hayden. You don't want to start taking chances and break up that Dline chemistry. Hopefully Okoye can come in and prove why he was drafted high and becomes productive. If Lawrence comes in and does what we expect him to do then our defense is only going to get better by the additions we already have on our current roster.

Unless they bring in back up RB to spell Murray I wouldn't do anything. Randal looked ok but he struggled with the pass protection. That makes me nervous.

Watch out. I said this 2 weeks ago and everyone and their mother (please tell your moms to stop texting me y'all!!) we telling me that no move was necessary. This D is one pass rushing mofo away from being studly.

And FYI, every single one of those passive sisters (AND their mothers) were wrong. About the team and the D.

How many "in season" trades have occurred in the history of the NFL that actually helped a team get over the top? I can't think of any off the top of my head.

He is on the NFI list. He is eligible to be activated this week or they could activate him anytime between now and week 14.

Josh Brent can't be activated until week 11, but I think he can start practicing this week.

thank you kindly

Not that I'm ever against improvement of the team but I'd really rather not give up draft picks. This team has drafted better as of late and I'd like to keep those in our hands.

Randle not going anywhere.

Gotta let that go already.

All Brent needs to do is come in and be a part of the rotation. Give us some good minuets

actually all he needs to do is thank God he is out of jail, never touch a drop of liquor again in his life and stay the heck away from this team who has shown they are dramatically better without him and do not need his kind of crap around. the league should be ashamed this guy is getting to come back, all this uproar of a guy beating his wife or another spanking his kids and all the calls for bans for life for those people but here is a guy who killed someone in a DWI incident and he gets to come back and play? no thanks. keep that bad mojo and bad memories of weak people and weak teams from the past out of here. im all for second chances (this would be his fourth chance btw) but actions have consequences and killing someone while DWI should have much much much more severe consequence than this guy is seeing. Shouldn't see the field ever again. Weak mind, weak man, keep him away from this team.

Edit: Sorry about the off topic rant/

I'd take a shot at a pass rusher who can be had for cheap. More than likely it will be a veteran of some sort who is cheap. I wouldn't expect a "Charles Haley".

This team you see....barring any injuries will be the team you see at the end of the season except with Carter and Lawrence hopefully.

The defense is playing solid together. I'm down for any depth acquisitions but that's it. I wouldn't do anything to this team right now. They are playing great football and playing like a family. I wouldn't disrupt that.

It's all opinion, but he didn't intentionally kill somebody; whereas, Ray Rice intentionally hit that girl in the face. I don't know if you saw that video, but she could have died from that blow.

I don't really know what punishment if fair, but Ray Rice's actions were intentional while Brent's actions were just stupid.

I disagree, with him staying away players on the team have backed and supported him and want him. I do agree he has to get his life in order. Fact is many here did not want Ro either.
