Say a QB falls (Bortles/JFB) and Hou or Jax offered their #2 PLUS next years #1?

We had the #22 pick in 2007 and cleveland gave #36 + 2008's #1

Deep drafts should make this somewhat attractive if offered.

Possible to end up with 2 of the following Jernigan/Chrichton/Ward/Easley/Lawrence/Ford in the first 47 picks and then 2 #1s next year for some real fire power.

Thoughts?

It would be a sign to me Jerry would be positioning for attracting a new HC next year.

Sounds good to me. We can always trade back into the bottom of the 1st

The closer we get I don't see how we don't trade down if Donald doesn't fall, that is assuming somebody wants to move up. Safety has been ruled out, QB is a no go even if Manziel falls, we just loaded up on D-line. I can see OL or WR being the pick when it comes to value vs need. And nobody can rule out TE.

I want picks this year
If they want to get up to 16, I want 2/3/4 this year not next year
