If we are to trade back with the rams then I want their 1st, one of their 2nds, and their 2017 1st.

That would at least give us some ammo to trade up in next years draft to get a QB. Since apparently, we want to do things bassackwards.

Yup. Goff wouldn't make the Rams a playoff team right away so we will still have at least 1 top 20 pick if we needed to trade up next year for a QB without giving up our entire draft or future high draft picks.

The chances of someone trading into The top 5 is very remote in this draft .

This. I dont see teams falling over themselves to trade into number 4 in this draft. The talent is thin at thin at the top. Ramsey and Tunsil will likely be gone and the QBs are fr from sure things.

Let me make sure I have this straight

You think that other teams think Goff is good enough that they would trade multiple picks to go get him but we should not stand pat and pick him because you think he is not a good QB?

If multiple teams think he is worth a #4 overall pick, why should we not take him esp if we feel he is a top 10 talent and potential franchise QB?

Why would that be a reach as you have alluded to multiple times previously ?

The irony is lost on them somehow.

They would laugh you out of the room.

If they really want Goff then they will have to pay. No reason for them to trade up to take unless they feel he is their franchise QB and if they see him as that then im sure they would gladly give to get him. BTW that's what i would want at the least. We hold cards because we have the QB they want.

If we walk away with a pre-teen 1st and a 2, it is a nice swap.

I'd love Zeke later in the first then moving back into the first for Lynch with those seconds

How did it work out for teams that drafted franchise players instead of all the other bust qbs?

Better than those that tried drafting their quarterbacks later! But then, everybody knows that.

They are moving to L.A. and they need to make a splash. Nothing like a Southern California Boy. The chart values are not that out of line.
