Trade for FS?

Good call, Herms... I remember he had good athletic ability coming out of college. I know he's been a disappointment, though. How bad has he been? And are they really ready to give up on him?

He hasn't been that bad..he has had a few injuries..nothing along the recurring line.

He's a kid who got caught between Herm's and Teddy Cottrell's ongoing schematic differences and then got knocked out by Coleman. He also did not walk into a secondary that was exactly loaded, to put it kindly.

My biggest concern isn't injuries per se, but weight. He has diffculty keeping it on.

BUT he has deep coverage speed, some innate FS instinct, and LOVES to hit.
He has true FS speed. The kid Berry-O apparently does not, so he won't be moved from SS.

He would be less 'risky' than Davis and more raw talent than Lynn, but he is NOT a seasoned vet, so there would be learning curve there and th way it 'sounds' CL, Bill is looking for a more finished product.

He may wear the 'disppointment' tag right now , somewhat, but in addition to his injuries, he suffered from the ludicrous hype that he was Herm's next John Lynch.

Expectations on this kid were ridiculous.
