I know from some of the threads we already have some passengers on this wagon.

I know he's coming of a torn ACL, but this kid is big time talented....not a product of Farve...he's for real.

Go get him Jerrah....the Pack will trade if the price is right!

Been on it for a long time... He's a stud. One of the best young WR talents in the league.

Please let it be someone like him instead of Owens...

I like Walker.

But you don't give up picks and a big contract.

See Galloway.

J Walker, TO, Glenn, and Crayton would be a solid WR corps. Get R Dun Jerry!

Lets not get a proven top 5 WR, lets go after a guy coming off major surgery to lead our wide receiving corps.

Problem he is not a FA. Giving up draft picks ala Galloway is not recommended.

IMO the Packers won't let him go unless it's for an arm and a leg. I like him a lot and would love to see a star on his helmet, however I just don't see it happening.

If it means preventing cancer (aka TO) from ruining (aka joining) the team, I'll all for it.

We would have to give up at least a 2nd round pick for him and then a good contract. No Thanks

Damn you Port! I was just typing up the same thread.

I'd much rather have J. Walker over T.O.

I take it you're also against signing TO then, right?

For what it's worth, Walker was one of the potential draftees brought to Valley Ranch in 2002 a week before the draft.

The Packers picked him higher than many people anticipated and Dallas then made the move for Antonio Bryant in the second round.

He's also very big like Parcells likes, he's from Texas (Galveston), and he would be able to contribute for years.

If Culpepper can go for a second, Walker can be had for the same -- at most. Hmm, Jacob Rogers or a proven young talent like Walker?

And for those saying they don't want to pay people... How else are you going to get a good player? You can't overpay everyone, but some players are worth it... Especially young players.

I'm happy to muleskin this wagon. I'd drive it to Jerry's front porch if I thought it might help us sign Walker rather then TO.
