Trade for J. Walker bandwagon....

i would be for a trade especially if we sign TO, add Walker to go with Glenn, Crayton and Copper, and the possibilties in the draft become unlimited.

For what it's worth, Walker was one of the potential draftees brought to Valley Ranch in 2002 a week before the draft.

The Packers picked him higher than many people anticipated and Dallas then made the move for Antonio Bryant in the second round.

I know he's coming of a torn ACL, but this kid is big time talented....not a product of Farve...he's for real.

Go get him Jerrah....the Pack will trade if the price is right!

Just pointing out a few things re Walker:

1. Walker hurt his knee (ACL) in first regular season game back in early September, so he's been rehabbing his knee about 6 months. Cowboy doctors can examine to see condition of knee and how rehab coming.
2. He's very bitter re GB & Favre affecting his relationship with Favre and has had problems with Packer fans as result. Made clear he won't come to TC & even mentioned he would rather retire then play for Packers again.
3. He's in last year of his contract so Packers get nothing for him once season over.

It's very difficult to keep a player if they want to go cause they can be a problem and Walker has been a good guy--until last year.

Want him but am concerned about the price. We really don't have any extra picks to give away nor a player we'd want to part with. But a creative GM, obviously that doesn't apply to Jones, would work something out -- like a conditional 2nd round pick in 07 plus something else. We'd have competition from other teams who also would be going after him, but it worth an effort.
