If Romo gets hurt i'd rather just tank the season and go with anyone we already have at QB.
Great plan......what if he gets hurt Week 14 and we are 11-3

Stephen has spoken. The Cowboys are going with what they have until all 3 QB's backing up Romo have "spit the bit" so
to speak. The youth movement is in full force at VR and they are not bringing any re-treads from other teams.

Garrett suits up.
Glennon looks real lanky, slow, and is a statue player. His only positive is a big arm and young age. He will never win a gun fight but can probably put a couple of scores on a board. Right now I think this team is set at qb for the year. Maybe next year if Moore and Showers do not show much.
It is s dumb move to overlook veteran FAs at some positions. Jimmy had s massive youth movement in the early 90's , but he saw the value in plugging holes with veterans acquired through trades or FA signings.
Get me Josh McCown from Cleveland please.
I'm just so sure that the Jones family discovered "dumb" as they are counting their billions. Yep, those guys and their staff just don't know
anything about football and the NFL...right!
That is who I would prefer if available. Something has to give in Cleveland since they also have Griffin, Kessler, Austin Davis and Connor Shaw.
Strike the word dumb, how about Illprepared? Nobody looked equipped to life without Romo last season. That is just the plain truth.
KMoore ain't goin' nowheres....

Weeden looked pretty good at Houston, didn't he. I think you have to put that on the offensive coaches who couldn't adapt with the
loss of Romo. Weeden is limited for sure but, he can do more than he was allowed to do in Dallas. I think Stephen believes
fully in the youth movement and letting young guys learn football in this system. I don't think Stephen likes to pay age and really
meager ability which any QB on the street has now.
The response was to the "those guys and their staff", which includes the coaching staff who flubbed their evaluation of all of them and grossly mishandled once they got to play. Weeden also got endorsements from ownership.
As for paying age, they paid a premium rate and pick for Cassel.
The misevaluation of the backup situation, including the lip service this offseason that it was a "priority" this offseason is a widespread issue that nobody should be immune from accountability for it.
All that can be done now is cross our fingers for Romo's health. I strongly doubt they interested in Glennon at all. He is a veteran, you know that type of player that we just are allergic to until we panic about it.
Do you really want to defend your position on the success of the Jones" family since Jimmy left?
