The kid has talent but since Richards likes the taller DB's and Lewis does not get the playing time he deserves why not try and get a pick for him?

Maybe try and do a player for player trade for a safety or DT...

I really like the kid but if we are not going to use him come game time then use him to get a pick or a player we will use!

Heck no. that is absurd. Depth is a great problem to have on the team. Dallas has the best 4CBs in the league. This team stays in the nickel most of the game and injuries are common with CBs. Lewis gets a ton of snaps during the game and he plays in the dime, totates in on series. No way should Dallas trade away a valuable asset like Lewis. Heck the team had him shadow Kamara against the Saints.
Go Dallas!!!

A lot of people on here have been saying that for a couple years now would make some sense but that doesn't mean the Cowboys will ? His appearance in the Jets game didn't go too well but I kind of blame that on not getting a lot of reps he looked a lot better against the Eagles which I think kind of proves my point but yeah if we're not going to use him we should trade him especially if there's a good DT out there we could acquire

Don't trade Lewis. Trade Lawrence and give his contract to Quinn.

Quinn is a great pass rusher, but he is terrible VS the run. And for as much bellyaching as people have been about Lawrence, his season hasnt bad at all

Can't you find somebody else to hypothetically trade?? I get the idea, but JD is the only CB that won't tense up when the ball is spinning towards his face.

Also, gotta keep a quality CB (#27) when you have about half the unit heading into UFA.
