You are correct. Which makes it all moot. Doing all this with Jerry is a waste.you cant fix the bottom until the top is fixed.
To JJ there is no problem.

Trade his asapZack Martin career is all but over. The Cowboys, like Demarcus Ware, wasted his years with this marketing team. Ware had to get out of Dallas for a chance to even play for a Conference finals. Not only did Ware get that chance, but played & won a Superbowl, with Denver. Martin will not get that chance.
Dallas should trade Parsons to a football team that has a chance to experience what Ware did. He is wasting his skills with the Cowboys who's #1 care is the business side of football and NOT the winning side of football
Sad but true....You are correct. Which makes it all moot. Doing all this with Jerry is a waste.
Look around the league. Its nearly impossible to find what you want. That’s fine. Keep doing it because Mazi Smith and Tristen Hill aren’t what I have in mind for picking the trenches.
Perhaps Parsons’ “#1 care is the business side of football and NOT the winning side of football”.Zack Martin career is all but over. You trade Parsons for multiple first round picks bc it's in the best interest of the team not to do Parsons any favors. If its not in a cowboy uniform, I don't give a hoot if the man ever gets a ring.Zack Martin career is all but over. The Cowboys, like Demarcus Ware, wasted his years with this marketing team. No one is trading multiple first round picks for anyone. The Cowboys won’t, and no other team will. Those days are gone. Best the Cowboys could get for Parsons is two third round picks. I doubt too many teams would be willing to do that. Draft picks allow a team to acquire talent that is comparatively inexpensive and cost controlled for four years. Using them to acquire talent that is prohibitively expensive is going backwards. Not too many GMs not named Jerry Jones make moves that set their team back. You trade Parsons for multiple first round picks bc it's in the best interest of the team not to do Parsons any favors. We are not anywhere close to a good team. Not even in the area code. You'll never have a good team if you trade all your good players after 3 years.
So you feel that the majority of the team is sub-par but also that other teams would give us picks for them?We are not anywhere close to a good team. Not even in the area code.
I'd be ok with EVERY position turned over for picks. Noone's job would be safe.
So your answer is to what? Ignore it? Most teams keep addressing positions of need.Look around the league. Its nearly impossible to find what you want.
Defensive tackles have more risk than Quarterbacks.
You can have a good team if you trade for high picks. Where that becomes a problem is the person buying the groceries doesn't know what the hell he is doing. The high picks have to be used wisely and this front office fails miserably in that area every damn year.
