Does anyone have clips of Cleary, this is all I've seen

You don't record all Cowboys game on your DVR and keep them at least until the next season starts?

We might have to revoke your fan card...

The coaches film from the NFL is not very expensive and gives you both the broadcast view and 2 coaches film views. I highly recommend it.

Thanks for reminding me, I forgot I had NFL mobile to watch all-22

You were not serious in your OP?

To be clear, the ideal scenario is that the Cowboys stand pat with what they have. But since Stephen hinted at a trade I am simply spit-balling what they might do. I don't think they are looking to trade a high pick. And if the Jags aren't planning on starting him they may not want his salary on the bench. They may let him go for a 4th. As I said in the op, that could be a pipe dream. But my real purpose was to start a conversation and see what my fellow zoners think. Being that I respect your opinion, what you think especially.

I see him as an older Chaz Green at this point. He's been a good left tackle, but hasn't played on the right side since college in 2005 I think. And he's played in something like 27 games over the last four years and missed all of 2015.

It says a lot to me that there's little interest in him, especially given some teams left tackle situations.

There is a risk that he could get re-injured, that's certainly true. On the other hand, this is a discussion around the best of a poor set of choices IMO. It is not uncommon for LTs who are getting older to switch positions and play RT. Over the years, I have seen that a lot. Now, if Clady were interested in playing in Dallas, he would most certainly know that the starting LT was Smith and that the position for him is RT for the Cowboys.

I think that it is somewhat inaccurate to say that teams have shown little interest. Teams have been interested in him but I think that they have not been interested in paying him what he wants. This is kinda what I mean when I say, "Would the Cowboys be interested in him for what it would cost them?"

I honestly don't know the answer to that.

Maybe you don't remember, but I was a big fan of Parnell replacing Free when he was here.

Obviously, the 1st round picks were a joke.

Jacksonville's LT situation has been a problem. They moved Luke Joeckel (#2 overall in 2013) from LT to LG last season before he ended up on IR. He is gone now. They signed Kevin Beachum to play LT on a 1 year contract last season. He had some struggles.

They drafted Robinson, but many don't see him as a LT. They would probably better better off moving Parnell to LT and playing Robinson at RT.

I really don't know if anybody can really have great success on their OL. Beachum struggled there but still got a 3-year, 24M contract from the Jets.

For the Cowboys, Green was really good in 2 starts at LT last season but obviously has not been able to stay healthy. I'm interested to see if La'el plays RT in preseason games. That will be interesting to see.

They'll probably take what they have into camp; though, I could see them adding a few camp bodies between now and then. If no one emerges they can trust, they might make a move. Of course, I'm not telling you anything you don't already know.

They have 4 options at RT. I think any of the 4 could be better than Free was in 2016.
La'el
Green
Cleary
Bell

I think it ends up being Green if he can stay healthy. If not it's more about how Cooper looks replacing La'el at LG because I'm almost certain that La'el can exceed anything that Free ever did at RT.

There were years were Cleary or Bell would have been better than the players that actually started at RT. Remember Alex Barron and Rob Petitti ?
