Im a huge romo supporter...have an autographed football by him in my office.

but man, I want teddy bridgewater in a cowboys uniform badly. I would trade tony (and maybe even throw in ware) right now to get this kid

1. QB Teddy Bridgewater, Louisville*

NFL Comparison: Russell Wilson, but three inches taller.

Where He Wins: Excellent pocket movement. Bounces off his back foot to step up against edge pressure and isn’t afraid to slide laterally when faced with an interior rush. Keeps eyes up to survey coverages and works to multiple reads. Placement and touch are there, but has the velocity to hit vertical routes on the move. Not afraid to give a covered receiver in single coverage a chance to win. Reports have stated he takes care of many checks at the line of scrimmage.

Where He Fits: He fits any offense. Sustains success from the pocket but also has mobility which isn’t showcased often. Hits every level with placement and timing.

2014 Draft Projection: No. 1 or 2 pick.

You serious? Bridgewater has looked nothing like what he was suppose to be. When you are on a team that ranked as high as his and you are being looked at as a potential Hiesman winner youre suppose to have absolute video game numbers. Not get beat by poverty schools.
There is no way I want to see him as a Cowboy and especially when there is aready an elite QB in Dallas. After watching a few Louisville games to see what all the hype is about. I can say that he has been absolutely overhyped. Teddy Bridgewater is not even close to being the best QB in CFB. I cant think of a worse thing to do for Cowboys. Romo AND Ware for a college QB that hesnt even performed as expected against very bad teams... No thanks.
Wait.. are you trolling?

Whatever team that ends up with #1 wouldn't accept Tony for Bridgewater, not even with Ware thrown in.

Thats pretty cool. Highlights.
Hes not that good. Have you even watched him the last few weeks? Anything can happen but hes a bust waiting to happen.

thankfully, like many teams... Dallas has NO interest in him whatsoever.

Who cares where you lived? If anything it just shows that you are bias.
He a good college QB. There are a bunch that are "good" but there is no point in wetting your pants about beating the South Florida Bulls.
Lets not get in any hurry to throw away a franchise QB and HOF OLB on a complete gamble.

bias? I dont even watch college football. I was only forced into it last year by some coworkers during lunch time on saturdays. kid is legit. several scouts say he's the next andrew luck. i only pointed out i lived there to show that i saw a lot of his work.

no risk, no reward...im willing to risk it

No one would do it.

RG3 cost 3 first rounders and two second rounders. Bridgewater is going to cost more, I'm not giving up Ware, Romo 2 firsts and 2 seconds and if the NYG land with #1 they aren't going to be looking to trade for Romo since they have Manning, they'll be selling to the highest bidder.

i just think its smart. why hold on to tony for 3-4 years when you could possibly pick up a 12-15 year replacement. its just better for the team overall.

even indy recognized this with peyton and luck.

I don't think there is QB even worth a first rounder this year - most are JAGs

In the end, I think Bridgewater goes #1, so we won't find out, but I don't think he fetches as much as Griffin did. As just nit picking here, but I think only 1 second rounder was involved. The skins definitely had their own 2012 second rounder and took a CB named Amerson. And I'm pretty sure they pick in round 2 this year. The cost was 2011 #1 & #2, 2012 #1 and 2013 #1. Bridgewater would likely go for 2013 #1 & #2, as well as a 2014 #1.

they recognized that going with a young talent for 10-15 years is smarter than going with an old talent for 3-4 years.

No Indy was scared that Peyton was done after his surgery. If Peyton would have been healthy going into the season they never would have took the gamble. As it turned out it worked out well for all involved.
