Seeing other teams have no sacred cows and happy to trade, what do you think the Cowboys players would fetch. My guess

1. Dak, 2nd to 4th (contract)
2. Elliot- untradeable
3. Pollard - 4th or 5th
4.Lamb - 2nd
5. Tyron - 4th (age/injury)
6. Martin - 3rd (age)

7. Any Dline - 7th at best
8. Parsons - 1st and 3rd or next year's 2nd
9. Diggs - 1st and next year's 5th
10. Brown - 4th
11. Joseph - 3rd

Best bet is to trade Diggs now as we aren't (shouldnt) pay that upcoming contract for a CB. He can't repeat last year as mean reversion nor with the current slop at DL. Get Jordan Davis and build up the middle

Next is hope for Dak to bounce back and trade him after next year if there is a desperate team.

Outside that, have to draft like it is 2005 every year

I think they're all pretty fair except for Parsons. We would get 2 firsts minimum based on his play last year. Was almost DPOY as a rookie. I bet we could squeeze a little more than a 7th for at least one of our DLinemen.

Dak has a no trade clause in his contract

There's no Herschel Walker on this squad. Parsons gets a ton of draft picks, but we don't want to get rid of him, unlike #34 who was overrated by the time Jimmy came onboard.

Don't agree that Prescott is worth nothing.

If Dallas decided to pull the plug and rebuild another team would fork over two firsts based on a big maybe alone.

That aside, does anyone think these two are capable of a Goff to Stafford type of upgrade in any remote type of way?

Their plan is to hope things turn around. When hope doesn't deliver they act shocked.

All that does is tell you that either they aren't honest in self evaluation or they haven't a clue what they are looking at.

Parsons is the only player commanding a 1st rd + compensation package.
Someone will pay for a CB.

I wouldn't, but he is cheap for a team that is close like Buffalo or spending team like LV, etc

Parsons is worth three 1sts right now btw.

Possibly more because I'd still need to think on that.

I get the whole negativity vibe but come on.

If our roster is collectively worth zero than no one should be all that disappointed at last years result.

More like doing back flips.

They just choke in big moments.....or get seriously out coached. Take your pick. Wonder why that may be.

Even suggesting Parsons would be might be or could be traded for anything less than 2 1st round picks is disrespectful. On a serious note the jones boys would probably settle for a 3rd round pick while smart teams cash in for 3 1sts but that is the difference between all the jonses and any average GM.

Lol this post is funny. D. Watson 1st 4 year stats ..yds-14539, td-104,,int-36, qbr 105....dak 1st 4 years yds-15778, tds-97, int-36, qbr-97...Dak won offensive rookie of the year. Very similar numbers but daks worth a 2nd and 4th and Watson is a perv awaiting a suspension. C'mon be fair atleast oh and contract Prescott 5 yr 160 m Watson 5 yr 230 m. Don't let ur hate make ya silly

Gotta knock every person down a round or 2 for each pick, due to being Cowboys.

I know, he's a likeable Cowboy, it's hard to say it, but it's the truth. Even Jimmy wrote it in his book on the championship runs.

That book is so old I don't know if I'll get the quote right, but he basically said he realized that Miami had more talent than the Cowboys.

He looked around the roster to see who could get him more talent in a trade, saw Herschel, and admitted that he was shocked at Walker's skills and talent after all he had heard.

Easy for him to say it now, but he admitted that he knew he could find an Emmitt or someone younger and with comparable talent to #34 in the next draft.

With what was listed, I'm not sure I would trade anyone.

1. Dak, 2nd to 4th (contract) - After what Watson got, I just cant see someone not offering a min 1st rounder for Dak, probably more. Especially with the general consensus on the current draft class of QBs.
2. Elliot- untradeable - You right
3. Pollard - 4th or 5th - Maybe, a 3rd is where I may consider it
4.Lamb - 2nd - It really does interest me how Cowboy fans devalue Lamb. I'm not sure I would take a 1st, unless its a high one.
5. Tyron - 4th (age/injury) - This may be accurate I cant really say. My guess is if they felt Tyron could fetch a high pick he would be gone instead of Collins
6. Martin - 3rd (age) - I bet you're selling him short. Only 31, I dont think its unreasonable to think he plays at a high level throughout the rest of his contract. He really hasnt shown many signs of slowing down

7. Any Dline - 7th at best - Overreaction....
8. Parsons - 1st and 3rd or next year's 2nd - Khalil Mack got 2 1st on the last year of his rookie deal. Parsons in year 2 would be insanely high. I dont think this is even close to what he could bring.
9. Diggs - 1st and next year's 5th - I bet this would be closer to what the Jags got for Ramsey than you think. Diggs still has 2 years on his rookie deal.
10. Brown - 4th - Cant argue this one
11. Joseph - 3rd - This one is a head scratcher. Limited action, sure, but a 2nd rounder last season plays very well when he sees the field and is worth less just a year later? I bet you would have a line of teams that would give a 2nd rounder for him.
