Parsons is worth far more then a first and third. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a LB that dominant as a rookie. Love his attitude and Cowboy pride also.
I wouldn’t trade him for the eagles 3 firsts this year personally but that’s just me.

Parsons is worth three 1sts right now btw.

Possibly more because I'd still need to think on that.

I get the whole negativity vibe but come on.

If our roster is collectively worth zero than no one should be all that disappointed at last years result.

More like doing back flips.

They just choke in big moments.....or get seriously out coached. Take your pick. Wonder why that may be.

Mental fortitude and lack of talent at key positions like NT and the OL.

Seeing other teams have no sacred cows and happy to trade, what do you think the Cowboys players would fetch. My guess

1. Dak, 2nd to 4th (contract)
2. Elliot- untradeable
3. Pollard - 4th or 5th
4.Lamb - 2nd
5. Tyron - 4th (age/injury)
6. Martin - 3rd (age)

7. Any Dline - 7th at best
8. Parsons - 1st and 3rd or next year's 2nd
9. Diggs - 1st and next year's 5th
10. Brown - 4th
11. Joseph - 3rd

Best bet is to trade Diggs now as we aren't (shouldnt) pay that upcoming contract for a CB. He can't repeat last year as mean reversion nor with the current slop at DL. Get Jordan Davis and build up the middle

Next is hope for Dak to bounce back and trade him after next year if there is a desperate team.

Outside that, have to draft like it is 2005 every year
Let me make it easy for you Dak is a top 12 quarterback 29 years old, company man and under contract. He would get the Cowboys two first round picks plus.
Parsons would get the first pick in this years draft plus whatever else you want. The guy is under contract for at least 4 more years at a reasonable salary and could be the best defensive player in football by the end of next season.
Diggs has the best hands of any cornerback since Deion. He has two years left of team control. I believe he can bring back at least 1st round pick plus multiple other draft picks.
CeeDee is bringing you a first and 3rd because like Parsons he could blow up this season.

The Cowboys have championship talent if it is used correctly.

Parsons is the only player commanding a 1st rd + compensation package.
A top 12 quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys at the age of 29 is not getting a first round +? The hate is strong in this one.

A 23 year old number 1 receiver that had 2,000 yards receiving in his first two seasons with Andy Dalton throwing him the football would not get a first round pick.:omg:

Finally an 24 year old all pro cornerback that set records for interceptions is a bum according to you.

Lol this post is funny. D. Watson 1st 4 year stats ..yds-14539, td-104,,int-36, qbr 105....dak 1st 4 years yds-15778, tds-97, int-36, qbr-97...Dak won offensive rookie of the year. Very similar numbers but daks worth a 2nd and 4th and Watson is a perv awaiting a suspension. C'mon be fair atleast oh and contract Prescott 5 yr 160 m Watson 5 yr 230 m. Don't let ur hate make ya silly
Lot of Dak’s #’s were accumulated by by feasting on the JV Nfc least.

Even suggesting Parsons would be might be or could be traded for anything less than 2 1st round picks is disrespectful. On a serious note the jones boys would probably settle for a 3rd round pick while smart teams cash in for 3 1sts but that is the difference between all the jonses and any average GM.
Ridiculous. The Cowboys would not trade Parsons for a third.

They would announce that they are going to have to release him, then try to get a third...settle on a conditional 5th.

Now I'm sad.

Dak's contract only makes him untradeable for Dallas but it does not lessen his value to another team. His salary this year is $1.6 million which is all another team has to worry about in a trade. The $31 million salary next year and $29 million the following year could be restructured and his CAP would be way lower than what his CAP value will be with the Cowboys but no higher than $31 million.

If the Cowboys could trade Dak a pre-June 1 trade would mean a $56 million CAP hit in 2022, post June 1 would be a $1.6 million CAP save but a $9 million CAP hit in 2023 with $58 million in dead money. For the Cowboys to make this trade other teams would have to come up with a lot to offer Dallas in return.

If Matthew Stafford and a 6th round pick cost the Rams Goff and 2 first round picks I am pretty sure the Cowboys could get 2 first round picks for Dak and probably more.

Parsons is the most valuable defensive player in the league when you consider his contract. He’s go for an astronomic price far more than 2 x 1st round picks.

Guys like Jalen Ramsey, and Khalil Mack signed for 2 x 1st but that was at the end of their rookie contracts. So you’ve got to start at that type of price but then factor in the additional 100m in cap saving that those trades didn’t include.

Dak would probably bring a 2nd round draft pick just by the fact he is serviceable but that doesn't meant he is really worth it. He reminds me of the saying that one man's trash is another man's treasure. Stop looking at Cleveland giving up 3 first rounders for Watson. He has never had the supporting cast Dak had.
Lamb is worth a second
Diggs is worth a 1st
Lawrence is worth a 2nd
Parsons is worth two 1st round picks
Zeke is worth a 5th
Pollard is worth a 4th
Martin is worth a 2nd
Tyron Smith a 6th round

With Zeke's contract I doubt you'd get much for him, plus the whole league saw him struggle his way to 1000 yards in 17 games last year.

Elliott carries a negative value.

How much would you want in return from another team to carry a dead running back at 12.5 million?

A low 2nd wouldn't get it done.

He isnt tradeable under any circumstance that wouldn't hurt the team.

11 more months and it's all over.

Then we can pay Pollard 5m a year to decline and nurse his foot problems. I see that coming ten miles away.

Lamb would net a 1st and more. He's cheap for 3 more years. He's a good WR, and there's a chance he'll get better.

I'd rather have restructured Coop and traded Lamb. I think we could've gotten a great return on that trade.

Tell me again, how this team is stacked with talent. Many on this board thought that Collins and Cooper would bring a 1st or more. I think the talent level is way overrated.
