This guy will have 0 effect on Beasley, who is a much much better slot receiver. Beasley isn’t going anywhere until Ryan Switzer shows some in game production.

I love this trade. Former top 10 pick. Classic low risk high reward pick. Low salary.

This guy has speed to burn. He's not really a receiver. I would think the plan would be to use him as the 3rd down running back. Behind our line he could be poison in the open field.

Screen passes, sweeps, and if you paired him in the backfield with Zeke man that would be wicked.

Austin counts $3 million against the Cowboys cap. $1 million in salary and $2 million in per game roster bonuses. The Rams ate the rest of the guaranteed money.

This + a 6th rounder? Not bad. Maybe the change of scenery will help him improve. We'll see.

i think beasley and/or switzer are gone based on this move.

Austin gives us a speed dimension we didn't have.

I highly doubt we give up on Switzer after one year.

I don’t think we should consider Austin a receiver, he will be more like Dunbar and won’t have much of an impact on the WR depth chart.

I like the move. Cap hit is minor, just one year, traded away a trash pick.

Austin's been a bust in LA, but who knows, maybe the change in scenery will benefit him.

They barely even put him on the field last year, so who knows. I imagine he'll probably stay the below average/bad player he was before, but doesn't cost much to find out if that can be changed.
