I could actually see that happening. For a guy as good as Beasley, I think Seattle could go for it.
They already have a better Beas in Doug Baldwin. I think Seattle really could have used Dez. Pair Wilson's accuracy with Dez's physicality and you have a win. Carroll is known for working with loudmouths.

If Beasley's out we need to find a way to get something for him. It’s frustrating cutting good players. He’s had a more productive career than Austin. Austin is a downgrade over Beasley. Compare their career stats.
The Beeze isn't going anywhere.

He's the team's new Lance Dunbar. He absolutely killed the Cowboys this year as a Ram. Probably a package like Lucky Whitehead, but better! Add in special teams abilities, great pickup!

This is a curious move. Gotta like the pure speed, but we now have 4 undersized receivers.

The FO has made a fundamental shift on WRs and they are right. It's a different NFL now. Like NE, you need a bunch of undersized guys who can beat man coverage close to line of scrimmage, so QB can get the all out before the rush gets there. IMO, gone are the days of the big "jump ball" WR that cannot get separation.

He's being looked at as a change of pace running back, like Lance Dunbar...

Rappaport also said we would be on hook for $1m with $3m in incentives possible. That would be reasonable. Any of the other numbers out there would be ridiculous in my opinion.

The Beeze isn't going anywhere.

Cuts are going to have to be made somewhere. We didn’t commit much to Thompson who’s on a cheap one-year deal. He’s going to have a tough time making the team. Witb as many carries as Austin had last season he may end up playing RB for us. We may have a Lance Dunbar role for him. Austin did average 4.6 a carry.

Who cares about the cap hit? It's a one year deal, we have plenty of room (after Dez and maybe Witten) and there are no other high dollar free agents we will sign.
Who cares about the CAP hit? Really. You over pay Austin who hasn’t done much and that leaves less $ for guys who earn their money, like Martin etc. We only have so much CAP space. It is stupid to waste it!

I don’t disagree, but you still need some big targets and guys that can fight for the ball, and the Cowboys don’t have a Gronkowski to help fill that role. I don’t see them keeping all 4 small guys.
