Signed by Cowboys Trade - WT Tavon Austin from Rams (for 6th round pick)

Love this.... typical Patriots move getting a talented player for nothing and doing something with them(or cutting them)

We do this move and the fan base freaks out and wants to burn their jerseys about losing a 6th round pick
This is so true. If pats did it every fan and network would be talking about how Bellichek did it again and pencil them in the super bowl

The deal getting his cap figure worked down makes it much easier to swallow.

FYI, it looks like it was the first 6th rounder Dallas had, pick #192. The Cowboys pick right after, #193, and at the end of the round with the compensatory pick, #208

Well... that's a highly insightful review. For argument's sake, let's say he is. By all estimates, he'll blow up and down the field faster than Dez.

I'm glad you saw the insight! I detailed it quite extensively.

This has nothing to do with Dez and everything to do with why the make decisions and then allocate their resources into what is a bust. The Rams coaching staff couldn't figure out but the boys will? Lol Color me super skeptical.

With all that being said he's here now, my knee jerk rxn is spent. Maybe he'll provide a spark in the return game.

Why do we care about 1 million so much.We give guys who can't play and shouldn't be on the roster this much.!it cost a 6th, who CARES!!!!

I thought he had multiple years on the deal.. It’s 1 year so I’m cool with the trade.

Where they gonna use him, on punts?
He’s not as good a returner as Switzer
I think they will use him like Dunbar in the pass game and on jet sweeps. Try to get the ball in his hands in space and hope he doesn’t fumble it
