Guys need to realize they didn't want Dez here anymore that's why didn't even offer to restructure his contract or ask him to take a pay cut. They were done with him.
Shannon Sharpe flat laid it down that they did not want #88 within the confines of the FACILITY come Monday morningo_O

So I'm seeing we are converting him to RB? Lmao.

Worrying about quirky specialty guys and didn't even address DT or safety. Par for the course. We treat those positions like trash scraps. Our DTs are undersized. Especially Collins. Playing out of position. And we wonder why we get little push up the middle.

I think Beasley goes.
Man,he could already be gone for all we,,,or even he himself knows,,, might be a big sweeping going on,in order for J GARRETT to maintain players laser-like focus of what he's demanding of them,,,who knows?

The Rams reworked his contract in March.

It appears to now be 1-year, 5M with another 3M in incentives.

Edit: It appears the Ramsa will eat some of the guarantee and the Cowboys get him at 1-year 3M.

He was used a rusher much more than receiver un 2017. He had 59 rushes witj a 6.7 average and 1 TD. He was on targetted 22 times as a receiver.

Fumbles are an issue.

I think the 1 year, plus 2 mil of LTBE game incentives is what we'd pay *if* we keep him. Only 1mil if we cut him.

Getting speed for the slot is a good thing.

Yards per target are low, but given how much they run him, I wonder if that's a lot of bubble screen type plays. Looks like they didn't send him downfield at all in 2017. 3.6 yards per target.

He's actually effective as a runner in yards per attempt for his entire career. I would hope that we get him going downfield to stretch teams a little too. Fumbles were brutal his entire career though.

I think we're revamping the WRs. Bring in a lot of guys, let everyone compete. Low cost up front, maybe high value. Works for me.

Look back at tape of what he did well at WVU and incorporate some of that in his pro game.
Looking for him to be more of a RB than a WR for us. My guess is we will use him like we did Lance Dunbar. Tavon will get a few snaps in the back field and will be utilized in the slot to create mismatches.

They already have a better Beas in Doug Baldwin. I think Seattle really could have used Dez. Pair Wilson's accuracy with Dez's physicality and you have a win. Carroll is known for working with loudmouths.
I can see that, being how it takes one to know one,,,,and Carroll is a genuine Loudmouth.

Third down RB I hope. If we can utilize Lance Dunbar effectively we certainly can do the same with Tavon.

Well they have added another element to this offense. At least they're deep at the position with lots of flexibility and it seems they're trying to be less predictable.......let's hope the playcalling gets better.

That is pretty interesting actually.

I dont hate it.

Behind this line he can change games imo. He can also wheel route it or flex out if we see a big disadvantage in coverage.
