This isn’t 2016 anymore. Dak threw for more touchdowns, yards, and less interceptions than Rodgers and Mahomes did COMBINED against that same amazing defense in just 1 game compared to 2. We can win PLAYOFF games with his arm and a better defense.

I think everyone needs to come down a little - we just faced Tom Brady and a really good offense with tons of weapons not to mention the defending superbowl champs - we are gonna be fine - stop with the trade this guy and trade that guy :starspin:

And what NFL team in their right mind would trade for an overpaid RB whose best days are behind him (in fact he only played at a Pro Bowl level his first two years)?

That was a bad performance against a stout DL. The coach didn’t even try to run. With that said I’d rather have a new LT to protect Dak. The team will need a run game to make it through the season though.

Zeke looked good and fast...playing behind an oline without his best blocker and for the first time as a group all offseaon....all against the best run defense in the NFL....

Just keep it in perspective, he was not a big part of the game plan which is why dak threw for over 400 while zeke was at 11 carries for 33 yards...

It's not like he had 25 touches for 55 yards, he was still over 3 yards a touch against the best run defense in limited envolement

Also- he was a critical part of why the passing game worked and dak was standing upright at the end of the game....his blitz pickups made a massive difference

He didn't have the yards but watch the tape and you will see a player that did a lot of the dirty work so that our passing game would succeed

We cant go off this one game

Tampa will send 11 guys if needed to stop the run they are fine with their pass coverage being below average aslong as the run is stopped and they also have Brady who can put points on the board so it allows them to play loose

i love Zeke but if they ran him 25 times he wouldve ended up with 30 yards

you still need Zeke to balance out the offense and hes still a threat because the guy can pass block

No.

The Cowboys didn't even try to run against the Buccaneers because they would have gotten into too many 3rd and long situations. I have to say the gameplan was brilliant Thursday night because there was no way Tampa Bay prepared for Dallas throwing that much.

Zeke will be more of a factor in games where the matchups up front are more favorable. Nobody runs on the Bucs and Dallas didn't play into their hands by trying.

Trade Zeke before we can even see what he can do for us this year after one game huh.... thank God you'll never hold a GM career for the Cowboys or anybody else. Stick to XBOX managing.

If only we could. We could have easily signed a guy like Mark Ingram and not missed a beat.

So now it's ...why did we pay Zeke so much......hmmmm? What happened to....get all ya can while ya can, it's a business.

So it does matter how much these guys make.

You never ever ever pay a RB big $$$$. these guys are a dime a dozen. TONS of running backs.
