Trade?

If it's Stephen with McClay's help making the trade and there was someone we really wanted, I'd say yes......if it's groper making the trade I say hell no because he absolutely sux at making trades.
 
Looks like more of a lazy article emphasizing "Trader Jerry" than anything tangible.

If you believe the Cowboys have undergone a paradigm shift to a "draft first" team, they are likely to trade down, not up.

And pretty much everyone that does not have multiple picks in the 2nd and 3rd will be looking to get some. I don't see the market unless it is for a desperation move for a QB or something. The draft is deep enough at several spots where teams that have those coveted picks can be patient and let the draft come to them.
 
Hes going for Garrett! This drafts to deep to give a 2 or 3 to move up for anyone except him or Hooker IMO! I would have no issue w trading our whole draft and next years pick to get Garrett.

Cowboys might trade up. Cowboys might trade down. Jerry has traded in the past. Jerry hasn't traded as much lately. They will evaluate where the players come off the board and expect to land a good player wherever they pick.
 
I would never trade up for a safety or cb (again), especially one we'd have to formulate a plan to use properly. Not against drafting Peppers, but 100% against giving up valuable draft picks to get him. That 3rd or 4th rounder could be our next starting cb. We need all the picks we can get

Would you trade up a few spots for a player like Peppers if he's still there around 20, Alex? Aside from your post, which is probably correct.

No. I like him despite some criticisms people have but I am not trading up in this draft for him, for a number of reasons.

Agreed. Seems like we're on the wrong end of these trade up deals.
