Cowboys trading a 4th for a bust, while the Commanders trade a 3rd and 4th for a 4x Pro Bowler in his prime.

Sigh.
Dallas Cowboys front office is now the laughing stock of the NFL. Commanders fans lucked out with Synder having to sell the team. They have been making so good moves and great coaching hires.

I always said once Synder is gone that would now leave Jerry as the worst owner in the league. Today is just another example.

....so, are we in the news yet? I mean, we have Rush for next couple of games and everyone still out.

The Cowboys are treating him like a free agent acquisition, which means they wanted a player who was cheap and who they have under contract past this season. That seems to be the only criteria for the Joneses, never mind quality.

No kidding, where as, with Mike Williams, he's an experienced receiver who would be a lot cheaper.

Dak is the highest paid player in the history of the league surely he can get the most out of Mingo

As silly as the Mingo trade is, remember that Williams is a half season rental for the Steelers. He will be a free agent this offseason.

Jerry doesn't need his 4th round picks. There is no sizzle in the 4th round. There are no headlines for who you pick on day 3. He's probably not even in the war room on day 3.

It's a future move. They need to find a way to get that 4th or better back

Detroit gave up a 5 and a 6 for Za’Dariuis Smith the Browns edge but Dallas gave up a 4 for a WR3 ? The Browns would have gladly sent him to Dallas instead for a 5 6 package as Dallas picks would have been better .

The 49ers now have a starting safety with the 4 Jerry sent the Niners for Lance . Interested to see who Carolina takes with Jerry’s latest 4 giveaway

Nice trades so far. Detroit is all in baby!
Is Smith still any good? I know he had a couple good seasons in GB, but didn’t hear about him since. Detroit is a fun team to watch, I watch ALL football (need to enjoy SOMETHING sports wise since Dallas is usually a disappointment) and that team is easy to side root for. Of course I always want the cowboys to win, but watching other teams can be entertaining too. Just an overall football fan and it’s cool to see Detroit finally give their fans something to cheer for.

Smith has 5 sacks this year . I would gladly send a 5 and a 6 to Cleveland for an edge then trade a 4 to Carolina for another receiver
