the field. Then we cut 2 guys that were not great, but at least offered us depth at positions of great need. Why do I get the feeling there was never a plan? Feels like Jerry just playing everything by ear, throwing stuff against the wall in hopes of appeasing the inmates in the asylum that are the fans. Unless Mingo can push Tolbert or Cooks for a role, this appears to be a waste for 2024 but may have been done looking ahead to 2025. The Cowboys are treating him like a free agent acquisition, which means they wanted a player who was cheap and who they have under contract past this season. That seems to be the only criteria for the Joneses, never mind quality.
