Smith has 5 sacks this year . I would gladly send a 5 and a 6 to Cleveland for an edge then trade a 4 to Carolina for another receiver
Oh yeah for sure. A 4th for a guy who wasn’t even a freakin starter….when Dionte johnson and Hopkins and Mike Williams who are WAAAAY better than Mingo go for a 5th and we spent a 4th? Jerry Jones is an absolute idiot, Jesus everyone knows he’s a clown except him.

So we traded for a wr that couldn't get on the field on a bad team, gave up what many consider too high a price for him, and we release a player at a position on the team that is already thin depth wise. Wow, what next Jerry?

And in 26 the Giants cash in a 6th round pick for the DT Jerry just cut

Yup guys, the mask is fully removed from the Jones boys. If there was ever any doubt who they were as GMS, THAT has been now answered. Other teams today made meaningful trades for mere peanuts, while we went ALL IN. Lmao...on a dude that never got on
the field. Then we cut 2 guys that were not great, but at least offered us depth at positions of great need. Why do I get the feeling there was never a plan? Feels like Jerry just playing everything by ear, throwing stuff against the wall in hopes of appeasing the inmates in the asylum that are the fans. Unless Mingo can push Tolbert or Cooks for a role, this appears to be a waste for 2024 but may have been done looking ahead to 2025. Heck, Flournoy might have something to say about Mingo taking his role off of special teams. I think RF is way better. Or will be. Just one man's hot take. Go Cowboys

Think I read he has caught 12 balls this year. Hardly worth a 4th rounder in return.

Nice trades so far. Detroit is all in baby!
it’ll be Detroit / Philly or Washington in the nfc championship

Wow, what next Jerry? I might be wishful thinking but I wish he would just go get on his yacht and not come back. And enjoy himself.
That's what I'd do.

Mingo is under a rookie contract until 2026.

Johnson needs paid next offseason.
cheap is jerrys middle name lol
he got the cheapest one out there.

But disregards the value of that 4th round pick

The Cowboys are treating him like a free agent acquisition, which means they wanted a player who was cheap and who they have under contract past this season. That seems to be the only criteria for the Joneses, never mind quality.
ok yes CHEAP CONTRACT gets both jerry and his cap boy excited.
But I checked and mingo was drafted in 2nd round lol so jones boys figure they put one over on panthers lol.
They got a 2nd round pick !!!!!!!!!! for a 4th!!!!!!
there might be a party on the yacht now for that move.

Doesnt matter if he can play or when, they got a 2nd round player !! that is all they see, and evidently they wanted to draft him,
so now they got him.

They could have waited till next year , and maybe get him for nothing. he isnt going to help this season.
At least I dont think so, who knows maybe they throw him out there against philly.

Detroit/Washington. Which would leave Dallas as the only team in the Conference not to make a Championship game this century.
175 years from now you can probably say the same thing, only make it 2 century's!
Jones family still owns the cowboys and half the planet.
