Trading back

Not a great year for trade down,i feel after the top 10 the talent falls off drastically.

I disagree. What I've heard about the defensive prospects is many will have similar ratings, you may be able to land a similar prospect in the 20's as in the teens. With all the opt out players this year, there might be more value then we have ever seen in year's past.

thats the thing, our pick is no 10 and we can really grab a blue chip prospect if we stay there.if we trade down we lose that chance.

Don’t think you are many blue chippers, especially defensive players in this class, Parsons maybe the only one

If Wilson, Parsons or Fields fall to 10 we will get some calls. But if they take the deal they better be sure to not go back too far and also that they will get a shot at one of the several "decent" defensive players that can be had in the mid first.

For an additional mid-late 2nd or early 3rd rd pick I'd be into dropping back a few spots 12-18, if I can still land a player in the caliber of Rousseau, Paye, Collins or Horn. I'm all about helping the D this year but there could be a few OT's that would fit in that scenario as well.
