This poll is irrelevant. All the Cowboys insiders even Belt/Broaddus says the Cowboys will resign Parsons.

Without Parsons our defense becomes as bad as our offense. We would totally be the Raiders. Resigning Dak and CeeDee would have been made no sense. Once you extended Dak you had no choice but to resign Micah.
We all know the Cowboys will resign him. I just want to see the percentage of Cowboys that think Parsons is actually a good idea

If a team is willing to give up multiple 1st Round Picks, I'm fine with trading Parsons.

Otherwise, I'm good with resigning him to a 2nd Contract.

I think the time to trade him was actually last offseason while he still had an extra year of cheap control. The Cowboys could have easily gotten 2 1st rounders plus for him with multiple years of rookie control. At this point i'm sure they can still get a nice return but not the franchise changing amount of draft capital they could have had. At this point I think it becomes more about who might you have to sacrifice over the next couple of years to keep the cap in line.....Overshown maybe? Bland? I really dont know as that question comes with a lot of layers to it, but how many more defenders can you realistically pay at the top of their position after locking up Dak/Lamb/Parsons? It feels more and more like someone is going to have to get left out.

I know this gets talked about ad nauseum, but I just want to see the what percentage of Cowboys fans actually want to trade him
The fans clamoring to re-sign the Mouth will be in a tizzy when the self-proclaimed assassin asks for $20 mil to $25 mil a year. Then we shall have 3 players taking up 75% of the yearly cap.
Trade The Mouth and get a No. 1 in 2025 and a No. 2 in 2026.

I would revise that question. I don't think anyone in their right mind would want to trade him.

The question really is, can the Cowboys afford to keep him?

Yes, but at a very dangerous price. It would take the complete loss of any measurable depth on the team. Any injury to a starter would have a devastating effect. That is not a sound strategy going into a season.

I don't think the Cowboys can afford to keep him at his perceived market value.

I also thought the Cowboys should have only signed Parsons and Lamb before the season started because they represent the future more than Dak.
Just one question - how does the Iggles front office keep finding ways to remain contenders with the large contracts they have handed out? Is the Dallas FO just making excuses because they don't know what they are doing? (I know, that's 2 questions. Sue me....)

Signing one of the best pass rushers in the NFL or trading him. You guys must want to be irrelevant.
That last post I meant to say "percentage of Cowboys that think trading Parsons is actually a good idea

Don't need to re-sign him. Can franchise him 2x I believe. Not as cap friendly but you aren't locked in if he has a decline, plus you can still trade him
Yep, fifth year option plus two tags.

Problem there is he will hold out and Jerry will cave per usual anyway.

There’s no way he is trading that player. No possible shot. They should actually be scrambling to win before the big payday comes, but they don’t see it that way.

It is really tough to say. We know Jerry will resign him. However, trade value should at least be explored and compared to what his demands are.

That is really the only we to truly decide if you extend or trade him.

However, GM Jethro will not explore trade value and most likely wait until after the draft. Box himself in a corner where Micah has 100% of the leverage and we will pay him $45M a year.

This poll would have made more sense if we didn’t resign Dak. Then we would totally be in rebuild mode and trading Parsons would make sense. Once we resigned Dak the question needs to be should we trade our picks for what veteran players. The Cowboys should be in a win now mode.

Resigning is the most sensible move unless some team offers a ridiculous haul.

Are you people clamoring for Dallas to trade him forgetting this is Jerry and Stephen we're talking about when negotiating the trade? We'd lose both Parsons AND get only garbage draft spots in return.
