Nah, TP too valuable. There's no fix, the FO messed up...this is only compounding the destruction of the offense.

Is there a team out there that would actually entertain giving up something of value for a RB? This seems like the worst time of year to be dealing one.

This is a trade that may make the most sense. He’s in the last year of his deal. We don’t utilize him as much as we should. He’s likely to get big money this offseason. Turpin can fill a lot of Pollards duties. And, we get to keep both Dowdle and Davis behind Zeke. He would be a piece I’d be willing to move for OL help….thoughts?

Heck no, he is the best offensive weapon on this team.

TP > Pollard

Not Pollard. If the Cowboys are looking to trade anybody, maybe it's Tarell Basham, Trysten Hill, Dante Fowler, or Nahshon Wright. One of them has to be worth a 6th or 7th round pick or a developmental tackle.

does not matter - is going to be a 7-10 year
You think? Maybe 8-9 wins???? Not that it matters. I wish we’d crap the bowl and win 3. What I wouldn’t give to get a stud QB. That’s the only thing that can overcome JJ’s world. Are there any Burrows in next years draft.

With Lamb and not much else at WR till Gallup gets back
I was hoping to see Pollard involved in the passing game.
He has skills in that area.

Trading Tony Pollard makes absolutely zero sense. He has a significant role in our offense splitting carries with Zeke. As we stand right now we’ll be entering the 2022 season with five new starters on offense none of which are an upgrade over what we had. Pollard is a playmaker we can’t afford to move on from him. Zeke isn’t getting any better or younger we can’t be giving him more of a load this season. After you get past Pollard and Zeke none of the other backs are proven. Zeke could end up getting injured again and we would really be screwed. Glad some of you don’t run the team.

A strategic trade? From this front office? Lol

While I totally agree with you I wouldn't mind packaging Pollard and maybe Hill and possibly Joseph, if his off field conduct thing thing didn't scare off potential trade partners.
I know, exactly like you said ..
it would require forward thinking, aggressive strategy from this FO but it's fun to fantasize.

Id like those 3 to be be dangled for a slightly above avg swing tackle and a kicker.

I know...
Dreaming and all.

And no, I don't even play fantasy football, lol

I actually like the idea of maybe looking into using Pollard for a player. But I don’t have faith in the FO to think like this. At all lol.

Not a chance he’s going to get 7-10 million a year. No way we re-sign him.

Yeah, I dont see him being paid as a top 10 NFL rb based on where he at this moment. 10 million per year would do exactly that.

The thing is I haven't heard a single mention of them even attempting to negotiate. He may very well prefer to wait, but we have to attempt to find out.

No thanks. If Zeke flounders this year, Dallas has a RB who can step right in. I wouldn't trade him for anything short of a king's ransom.

I like the outside the box thinking. Pollard would certainly fetch more than the bums most think magically gain trade value to other teams simply because we don't want them.
