Because I think Pollard can yield more than an average DL. What are you really going to get for Basham or Hill? There’s probably a lot of teams out there that would start Pollard and have a vision for him.

How about we be one of those teams to start Pollard... No to trading the one guy that is a staple, underused yes, but a staple none the less

I think some folks are greatly overestimating Pollard's trade value, especially in the last year of his rookie deal.

He's more valuable to the 2022 Cowboys than anything they'd get in a trade.
