Sounds like the run game is going to be an issue this year :banghead:
Has Pollard even practiced full speed yet? I know they wanted to bring him back slowly. Haven't really seen any footage of him.

MP just working out his lateral thigh movement conditioning, he aint even going full MP on his team mates.
MP is like a shark that knows his waters well now, can not wait to see MP going full throttle when he needs to.
There is going to be blood in the water this season peeps.

Why would it be an issue? You do know there's only 1 person missing from last years team right? The trash zeke Elliott. Unless you want to convince yourself that kellen Moore was the key to the run game.

I'm going to see if I'm can dig up some archival footage. For Cowboys fans who were born in the 2000s, it's understandable if they don't recognize those terms.

he tried to stop but he is too fast for his own good.
Is it wrong that I was more concerned with Parsons possibly hurting himself by trying to stop? I mean, we don't need to lose Dak, but Micah ... man.

Pollard ran some today. Looked good, definitely not full speed.

Deuce is so damn hard to corral. He's literally too small and his stop-and-go is special.

The rest of the RBs looked pedestrian to me.

Now the WR's? They looked good. Several of them.

It may be a little easier to complete passes when youre wearing a red jersey and know the defense wont really touch you. However, good to see some of these throws and its clear Cooks is going to be a nice addition for this team.

Notes after the second consecutive padded practice for the #DallasCowboys

• Dak Prescott was surgical. Lights out. Threw touchdown passes to CeeDee Lamb, Brandin Cooks, Michael Gallup, Jake Ferguson, and Peyton Hendershot.

• CeeDee Lamb mentioned during an interview with
@1053thefan
that the offense “is in Dak’s hands now”. We saw Dak Prescott working on more zone read today during practice than we did all last season. I think now that McCarthy is giving Dak more freedom to make decisions, we’ll see Dak running more.

• The trio of CeeDee Lamb, Brandin Cooks, and Michael Gallup made it a rough day for the secondary. This may be the best wide receiver core that Dak has had in his entire NFL career.

• The battle for the WR4 spot looks to be down to either Jalen Tolbert or KaVontae Turpin. Jalen Brooks has had a great camp. It appears Simi Fehoko is losing the battle and unfortunately, suffered a quad injury that kept him out of practice today.

• Micah Parsons looks like something completely different this year. Nobody on this team can block him.

• I’m concerned about the right side of the O-line without Zack Martin.

• Mazi Smith did some nice things in 1 vs 1’s

• It appeared like Deuce Vaughn and Rico Dowdle got some work with the starters. I don’t think the RB depth chart will shape up until after the Seattle preseason game.

I like what Dak is doing. The ball even has a nice spiral to it. However, it seems like he is only throwing to the sidelines which I am sure will cut down on INTs. However, are they ever going to work the middle of the field? I haven't seen any footage of that yet.
